The resort is on a beautiful white sand beach that only has 3 resorts on it. A perfect place to relax! There was good snorkeling at either end of the beach. Lots of seating available on the beach and you could always find some shade. Neverland had a bar and restaurant which served good food and down the beach,Rimlays was another very good option. Our favorite was the local family run Thai restaurant about a 5 min walk.. Walk In Homestay, they lso had a little mini mart. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. If you wanted to explore beyond this beach you would need to rent a scooter, which they had at the resort. You could also rent paddle boards and snorkel gear.

Very friendly owner. She made an extra delicious breakfast with love ! The tent was big and quite comfortable. Although the whole terrain was quite small, I liked the familiar atmosphere. 10 min. walk to the beach. Also very good dinner for reasonable prices.

    Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special. It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous. .

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer. The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes. We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.

This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax. I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.

The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something) However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel. The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.

This hotel is a dream for back backers - like a 5 star lux hotel. Exactly in the center of the beach. Next door neighbour is the best 5 star hotel of the island. For the peole older than 30 it is 3 star hotel in nice location with Good breakfest. Room was big. Full of fake plastic flowers, fake bird cage with plastic birds and etc. Huge bathroom. Entrance to the room was behind pool shower cabin. Entrance to the hotel lobby was also interesting. It seems it was a other near by 5 star hotel workers working route. Smelled like a toilet area.

The bungalows are all facing the sea. They are basic, but clean and comfortable. They have all you need. The resort overlooks a secluded beach which is used most of the times only by the guests of the resort and often you can be alone in the beach. The water is crystal clear and you have the feeling to be in heaven 😉Besides the resort there are two good vibes bars. Perfect place for sunset and sipping a cold chang. Khlong chao beach is less than 1 km away and seems lively especially in the evening but not overcrowded

My stay was excellent. I will definitely come back as soon as I can. The family who run the hotel made me feel at home. The room was very comfortable and clean. I also recommend the food. It is exquisite and at a good price. You can also rent a motorbike and at the same price as the other rental places. I recommend this accommodation without hesitation for people looking for a quiet place, at an excellent quality/price ratio. Congratulations to all the staff of Baan Bua Cottage. You are awesome!

Coconuts are arrival were a nice refreshing touch. Best of both worlds because although you’re not on the beach you are close by and a motorcycle takes you everywhere and then and then back home to your coconut grove. Lit at front reception is very helpful and his English skills are amazing! Fresh espresso and the breakfast is amazing! Central location. My only suggestion is yo allow VISA card payment and it was near perfect! Room was cool on arrival! Perfection!

We really enjoyed our stay at the MeDee Resort! Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and spacious bungalows for 2 people, small and private resort, big bathroom, yummy breakfast with egg station, French toast, pancakes and fresh fruit. Big plus- free kayak rental, enough sunbeds, no sandflies and an amazing sunset every night. Also scooter rental or snorkeling trips can be booked directly at the hotel.

The girl at the reception was very friendly and tremendously helpful. Good room for living. The bed was very stiff, but the staff in the hotel managed to do it comfortable at once. Breakfast was nice, several dishes. Coffee machine was good, not just ordinary black coffee as usually at hotels.
