Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling.

Al Madinah is a significant religious destination for Muslims, boasting numerous religious sites such as mosques and historical landmarks. However, navigating the city can be challenging due to ongoing infrastructure work, particularly when attempting to reach places like the Masjid by car. Many religious areas suffer from inadequate parking or are completely closed off.

Madinah stay was wonderful road network and moving around city was good. The holy masjid Nabwee was easy access also the quba mosque the museum would definitely visit again . The al rashida mall was good and also ate in the hashe basha restaurant very good
The staffs are so friendly and kind. Its very rare in Saudi Arabia. They are also very helpful. Everytime I request for something like add towels, breakfast stuff, etc they are always helpful. So thank you so much.
Its also only 7-9 minutes walk to gate 338 of Nabawi close to Door 22/21. Very convenient for ladies cause its near woman entrance.
6 minutes walk to the stop of hop on and hop off Madinah Bus Tour, 80 SAR/ person for adult for 24 hours access to go around the city including Quba Mosque.
Location is good, but hotel is not clean at all, washroom drain was clogged, when asked to change room, they said they’ll give a suite but end up giving 4 bedroom room that was worst without cleaning and drain was clogged. Racist people hotel staff, if you are saudi or white skinned person then you may get a suite or better room otherwise end up getting a dirtiest room. I would say a US motel room is much cleaner than the rooms listed here. I will never ever book a room in this hotel.
I used to come to this hotel with my family when I was young whenever we visit Madinah and 10 years later I stay here as a solo traveller and I am amazed at how this hotel is still the best. Spotless clean, amazing interiors , lovely staff and perfect location. Breakfast was really really good and the restaurant overlooks the haram. Seriously I am glad I didn't book at another hotel and came back to madinah hilton and will definitely be back again
The location is nearby Quba Street.
Walking distance to the main attraction in Madinah, Nabawi Mosque.
And the hotel also nearby Ghars Well, another main attraction in Madinah.
The hotel perfectly clean and the room is very big.
The staff very polite and can speak Inggeris.
I was sick in Madinah, the staff help me, they let me to stay in the hotel even after check out. Thank you Abdul Rahman, you are the best staff.
Dallah Taibah is a great hotel for families with exceptional customer service; staff professionalism is exceptional and unlike other similar hotels in Saudi Arabia. The hotel is situated close to women’s gate in Masjid Nabwi, making it a great choice for families. The hotel offers adjoining rooms (2 or even 3) within the same suite. I highly recommend the updated rooms w/ new furniture and facilities.
I had a delightful stay at Saja Al Madinah hotel. The comfort of the room and the helpful staff, especially Walaa at the Front Desk, made my experience memorable. Salwa's daily check-ins showcased their commitment to guest satisfaction. The clean, cozy rooms and the hotel's proximity to the Masjid make it a fantastic value for money. Highly recommended.
Our second time at Shahd Al Madinah. The location is superb especially if you're travelling with kids. The breakfast is very good. They were extremely kind to fulfill our request for late check- out as we had to leave for Makkah by train after the Friday prayers. Genuinely friendly staff and overall good service.
The check-in staff were very cooperative specially their supervisor she helped me to finish my check-in

Great hotel and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. They would do their best to achieve all your needs and offer you the best solutions. I loved everything about it and I had a great view. I would definitely be back to Madinah to the same hotel. In room dining was the best you would imagine.
I had booked 4 bed room haram view + maid room. Believe me guys you won’t find such beautiful room in entire medina. Also the check in is strictly by 2 pm and by 12 they may consider so please do not plan to arrive at this hotel before 12 as the checkin policy is veryyyyy strict
The customer service is exceptional and the best I have had in Saudi - ever!
Staff are attentive and helpful. location is fantastic, a few minutes walk and you are in the Haram.
The daily suhoor, each day was brilliant and had lots of variety.

Exquisite hi tech hotel. In a perfect location , specially considering the ladies prayer area and Rawda Mubarak entrance (Just 2 min walk to Gate 365). Provided with all requisite amenities.
Staff is also forth coming.
location , cleanliness and staff were the best among of my many stays in Saudi . perfect room service and housekeeping . I stayed in this hotel in 1994 and this is my second time after 28 years 😃
The hotel was super clean and room were big. Internet and all other facilities were working. Didn't try the coffee catle since we had our own coffee machine.
The receptionists were very helpful and polite especially Ghalia, Ghufran and Ahad. This hotel will be my first choice when visiting Al Madinah Al Monawara.
