the rooms reflect the character of the building, they are stylish and comfortable too, I slept well. The breakfast was very good, we had cooked breakfast with tea, it was light and tasty. Indigo is centrally located and everything in Durham is in walking distance, the Cathedral and world heritage site is a very short walk. I love that.

I was given a top level room initially. I am 77 and disabled through cancer and found it very difficult. I was transferred to the lowest level the following day as soon as a room became available. The staff couldn't have been kinder and put themselves out to make me comfortable. Carly was especially helpful and apologetic.
