The location overlooking the village green. It was our favourite weekend getaway and have been there many times before under the old management.

The staff were very helpful. They were attentive and eager to please. They all seem to be happy working there! They were instrumental in ensuring we had a very good break. Also the gardens were well kept and extensive.

The actual hotel is lovely, I was in a terraced house, down the road, laughingly called an annex. Right next to the church bell tower which rings every 15 minutes...

Arrived just before the restaurant closed. They let me order before I checked in and went to my room. Everything was ready when I returned to the dining room. Fish and Chips were very good.

Everything about Pear Tree House was exceptional. Lovely comfortable room, lovely hosts, fabulous breakfast and the offer of cake was a nice touch. Good setting, on site parking and lovely to see the chickens, guinea pigs and dogs.
