We love trying Wetherspoons hotels and have stayed in 4 so far and this one is by far the best yet. The layout of the room was great plus very spacious. The location right in town centre close to all the shops, restaurants and also close to swimming pool.

Staff were very good , I misplaced the key card and at 1.30 am had to phone to be let in, after a security check they let us in with a smile, so no complaints from us, our room was small but that was our choice, plenty of coffee and milk, can't grumble for what we paid ,VFM

I didn't have the chance to visit Rothwell as the hotel chain, OYO, cancelled my booking leaving me stranded without any accommodation - there was no alternative local accommodation available as it was Silverstone weekend and all the other places were full.

Rothwell is a small town, with a few shops, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed lunch at The Old Bank, where the food was exceptional, very tasty.
There is one main car park which serves the town, if you’re attending an event, go early the car park gets busy, particularly on a Saturday night.

Rothwell is a great central base if wanting to explore this part of Northamptonshire.
Plenty of history and tranquil charm if you want to escape into the local countryside. The centre of Rothwell has excellent facilities. Plenty of well priced accommodation, including Rothwell House, The Red Lion and The Blue Bell. Easy to get to with very handy A14 connection.

Small town.
Small town. Good choice of food places if you're there for the evening, including small supermarkets and the usual take-aways and restaurant offerings. Parking is good. Bus route. Messy with litter which is always sad to see - some careless lazy people around.
We stayed when the property had been recently refurbished and it was perfect. Within a stroll of Rothwell- a beautiful old village with good pubs, fish & chips, Tesco and friendly Co-op shops. Very comfortable for 3, it accommodates up to 7. Very well equipped kitchen, large tv with Netflix, iPlayer and Freeview. Good central heating. Attentive service from the owners included festive decorations at Xmas, a nice touch. Highly recommended.
My stay was very comfortable especially for the price… The staff were wonderful and the cleaner always greeted you will a smile and pleasant conversation… the hotel is right on the high street there’s a small Tesco, Co op, few pubs, lots of quaint coffee shops, wonderful restaurants and a good selection of delicious takeaways….
I was awake all night with the bells ringing outside from the local church, The Wi-Fi didn’t work and at 7 am this morning I was having my car towed away as there was a funfair and they were supposed to tell all the people staying in Hotel, they didn’t.
The room we had booked wasn’t booked properly with the hotel so was given an alternative. The room didn’t have an en-suite and was extremely small but we had our own bathroom down the corridor. Very clean and tidy
Charming young lady showed me to my room and explained all the details regarding my room and the hotel itself. Nice comfy bed and free parking on site.
