Stunning views of the Firth of Forth feature at this 4-star, family-run hotel.

Big comfy bed in a large, bright room with large bathroom. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Lovely beer garden, great staff and delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Murray Library Hostel, hotel in Pittenweem

Murray Library Hostel features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Anstruther.

A fabulous place to stay. Everything we required - a comfortable room with a stunning sea view. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Darius was kind and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, he kindly dried our daughter’s down jacket as we got soaked on our walk. The location was perfect for our stay and visit out to Isle of May.

Belstane House, hotel in Pittenweem

Located in the small fishing village of Cellardyke, just a 13-minute walk from Anstruther, Belstane House is a 16th century house with a garden, facing the seafront and looking towards the Isle of May...

The view was amazing. Although there was a tv with many options there was no need as you can just sit at the window and watch the sea. The room wasn't just a bedroom but had a living room. Felt more like an apartment, very spacious. The hosts were friendly and were there for anything you needed but not intrusive. When I need a sea fix, i will definitely be back.

Kirkmay House, hotel in Pittenweem

Set in Crail in the Fife region, Kirkmay House has a garden. With free private parking, the property is 12 km from St Andrews Bay and 16 km from St Andrews University.

There was a swing outside. The local chippy does the best chips I've ever had. The DVD's and books were great for my kids. My kids were really impressed by the whole place. We went for my birthday and the kids wished we had stayed 2 nights and that is high praise from them, as they just prefer home usually. There was a wood burning stove.

Lovely fishing village. On Fife coastal pathway.

Lovely fishing village. On Fife coastal pathway. Two lovely restaurants, a Bistro and a Chippy down by the harbour. Good walks both east to Anstruther(where in the summer there are boat trips to the Isle of May) and Crail, and West to St Monans where there is are an historical windmill and salt pans. Good base for St Andrews.

Pittenweem is located in the East Neuk area of Fife which has plenty of opportunity to enjoy outdoor and indoor activities. We enjoyed walking, seeing the harbour, local food (chippy, bistro and cafes), local farm shops, art shops and galleries, other local towns and villages, distillery etc….. even the Fife weather was enjoyed ( we wanted some wind, rain and rainbows 😁)

A very quiet area with a lovely small harbour and very friendly residents living there. We visited a pub/restaurant called the Chip Ahoy @ Larachmhor and the fish and chips were lovely. Also the employee was Irish and we had a great chat with him and he was able to tell us about different walks around the area.

    Lovely little harbour town.

Lovely little harbour town. We stayed opposite fish market - great location for the #fife coastal path, with accessible paths for walks to Anstruther and Craig in one direction, and St St Monans and Elie in the other. We ate in the Dory Bistrot and Larachmhor, both were great.
