Warm welcome from the owners. Freshly baked cookies in room was a lovely touch. Great breakfast with a wide selection- I was spoiled for choice. Fresh milk in guest fridge saves on single use plastic- great idea and only accommodation I’ve found doing g this.
Set amongst the beautiful Wye Valley, Smithfield Farm Bed and Breakfast offers wonderful views of the hills above Builth Wells.

We were amazed at the effort that was made to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The extra little touches added by the hosts were classy. I won't spoil the little surprises by revealing what awaits you as a guest at this B&B. The room and en suite facilities are spotlessly clean, you won't find better. They have a novel way of presenting breakfast in your room that works perfectly. We had a fully cooked English/Welsh Breakfast, delicious. I have never met the hosts before and we only stayed one night, just the nicest of people.

Beautiful location in mid wales. 4 course Dinner and Breakfast were excellent. Predinner drinks were served with canapés which were delicious, as indeed all the courses for Dinner. Breakfast had wide selection of fruit, yoghurt etc. Cooked breakfast included Welsh lava bread( made from seaweed) again all delicious. For those with electric cars there is a medium charger at £25 for residents to use. The swimming pool was lovely with sauna, located next to the lake, no time to try the spa, planning another visit for that. We stayed in the lodge, which had a comfortable living room, shower and bath, very comfortable suite.
Pwllgwilym Barn bed and breakfast is surrounded by 60 acres of picturesque Welsh countryside, a 4-minute walk from Cilmeri Rail Station. It has free Wi-Fi and free on-site private parking.

Lovely location. Excellent good sized room, with comfortable beds, large bathroom. Good linen & towels etc. Drinks facilities very good.

The drive-in was lovely. We passed views you'd see on post cards, and the windy roads were amazing to drive.
The home was outstanding. An entire Annexe that leaves you wanting for nothing, twinned with an amazing view identical to what you see in the pictures. You get a large balcony for the aformentioned view, a fully fitted kitchen, and a seriously comfy bed to boot.
Lastly, the owners, Janette and Andy, were not only amazing hosts but lovely human beings. They offered us a tour of their beautiful farm filled with loved and well-kept animals, which was a highlight for us.
Life can be stressful sometimes, but I can honestly say this is one of those places where you just sit back, smile, and wonder, "Where did the time go?"

WiFi reception is a problem as their is no mobile signal, but WiFi is available in the games room at slow speed.
