Tregaddra Farm B&B, hotel in Helston

Tregaddra Farm is situated in the heart of the Lizard Peninusla Heritage Coast, the southernmost point on mainland Britain. Mullion is 4 km from the property, while Helston is 8.8 km away.

This is a gorgeous B&B and June is a wonderful host. This is our fourth stay and certainly won't be our last- it's the perfect, tranquil escape that we look for when going away. The rooms are comfortable and incredibly clean. June cooks an amazing breakfast and is always on hand for recommendations on what to see and do. It's our perfect stay.

Porthleven B and B, hotel in Helston

Situated in Helston, 700 metres from Porthleven Beach and 2.8 km from Loe Bar Beach, Porthleven B and B features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building.

Julian and Kate had left a very thoughtful range of breakfast options in the fridge and in the well equipped little kitchenette. Shower was amazing, the suite was tastefully decorated with all home comforts - and more. A short walk down to the picturesque harbour - an excellent location.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel. I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.

The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes. I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site. Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.

The cottage was beautifully restored and had a very nice interior. It had everything you would need for an extended stay to enjoy the surrounding area. It was picturesque and in a quiet location. The host provided a very informative email detailing things to do, see, and places to eat. We enjoyed his recommendation of the Helston Meadery on Wendron St. It was a short 12 minute walk to the town center. The hiking path across the small bridge nearby was quite enjoyable as well. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.

It's very close to Praa Sands beach and also to St. Michaels mountain. Britannia House captured my heart with its vintage charm, warm hosts, brilliant coffee, and lovely breakfast. The attic, complete with a fireplace and cozy furniture, provided a serene retreat. The house's unique character and history made it a truly remarkable stay. If you're looking for an enchanting escape that takes you back in time, Britannia House is the perfect choice.

Vicky and her husband are great hosts. In the lovely garden she grows all kinds of fruits and berries which she then uses for breakfast or to make fantastic jam. The room is very comfortable, including a small fridge, and has all you need for a relaxed stay. The freshly made breakfast from Vicky every morning is delicious. A big thank you for sharing your jam with us and more important some tips and tricks to improve my home jam making.

When I stay at a hotel for work purposes all I want are clean, basic facilities with the usual comforts of a bed, kettle, wifi and a bathroom. This ticked all the boxes for me. The breakfast contained an excellent array of different fruits, cereals, juices with a menu to choose cooked items from. Unfortunately my appetite and time constraints meant that I couldn't do it justice!

My friend and I had really lovely, huge rooms! It is a lovely little pub in a very pretty little village. It has a lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. The breakfast was excellent as well as the menu for lunch and dinner. We ate here the two nights we stayed and had wonderful meals. I cannot recommend The Three Tuns enough! I cannot wait to go back!

The owner was very polite and catering for all our needs. The location was great not too far from Helston town centre or Praa Sand Beach. Also, easy to get to unlike some places in Cornwall on those tiny B roads/tracks. Their homemade jam and marmalade were very nice, even better knowing we could purchase a jar to take home.

The property was located very close to the centre of Helston, but it was very quiet and has ample parking. It was very clean and fresh smelling on arrival and good comms from Jason. It is great location with a lot to do in the immediate area, or for exploring the rest of South Cornwall. I would highly recommend.

The views and accommodation. My family and I had the best stay. It’s quiet with great views. Dog friendly also. Helston itself it’s close to most the main attractions, no more than 40 mins which we liked. Would definitely stay again.
