For what I paid it was spot on. Furniture and decor was quite battered but the bed looked and felt pretty new. Bed was comfy and everything worked. Bonus to have a fridge.

Beautiful grounds and location. Swimming pool area was also very nice and relaxing.

The room was a bit smaller than what normally used too but very pleasant. The famous breakfast lived upto the deserved reputation it absolutely splendid freshly cooked hot and delicious Staff were top class friendly and knowledge based of the area

A lovely pub with a good local clientele, very genuine. Food was classic English pub food , nicely cooked and fresh. A very reasonable price for both food and room. No breakfast, but the cafe next door was perfect. Comfortable bed and nice decor.
