The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful. Our room had everything that we needed and was cleaned well each day. Tea / coffee was replenished and there was no shortage of anything. Everyone was friendly.

Location was spot on. Rooms are lovely had lots of little extras toiletries, fridge with fresh milk and orange. Plenty of tea and coffee. Lovely dressing gowns and slippers. I would highly recomend a stay here. Owners were so friendly and went out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely come back and wouldnt stay anywhere else.

Staff were lovely. Location was just what we needed to travel around the area.

My room overlooked the harbour, and the best part was going to sleep with the sound of the sea. The restaurant served delicious food and all the staff were lovely.
Fabulous walks from the doorstep. Great views. Quiet location. Loved walking on the beach, coastal path, cinder track and along the Esk Valley walk. Within easy reach of Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, Runswick Bay, Grosmont. Used train and bus services where possible. Recommend walking along beach from Whitby to Sandsend.
