The breakfast was awful . I had to fight to get a vegetarian alternative and was served burned vegetable sausages. Some paid for two vegetarian breakfasts and all we could have was juice and toast

I loved the location, so close to the beach, in a lovely area of town, very bright and not too busy, easy to walk to from the station. A beautiful building, inside and out. I loved the quirky lounge areas, one with a grand piano and one with retro board games from my youth, a record player and some lovely old books. I spent my morning there drinking my coffee and bathing in the sunshine from the large bay window, truly glorious.
The breakfast was perfect 👌 and the staff all polite and friendly. I felt so calm and looked after there and definitely want to go back .

Booked on room & breakfast basis, and the breakfast had a very good selection. The whole hotel was very well kept and maintained, and all the staff were from reception to restaurant to room cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. We have family in Eastbourne and would definitely stay again in future.
