Beautiful location with plenty of green space to walk the dog. The on- site cafe had great food and there is even a cool dog cafe next door to treat them to food and snacks. The barn/ house is perfect with everything you need. Would definitely return for a night away break. 😃

The attention to detail was brilliant, from having the little kid corner with arts and crafts to having hot water bottles.
Couldn’t fault the property, immaculate, comfortable and overall great location

The BNB in located near Southend Airport, so it is very convenient for those who fly out early. I came to visit a relative in the vicinity who lives a short busride away. There is also a railway station which takes you in the Centre of London in under an hour. Across the road there is THe Anne Boleyn a typical English Pub with a very large offer of dishes and drinks at affordable prices. The BNB itself : excellent breakfast and friendly owners. Don't go there with the expectation to be in the middle of a bustling centre. It is away from shopping areas etc. But they can easily be reached by train and bus.

Good location in centre of town and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and sea. Good parking. Good sized comfy bed and large room. Things within room could be improved to make for a better stay. Somewhat impersonal. Not the best value for money under the circumstances.

We stayed as visiting friends who live locally.
We had breakfast at the Bistro on the Quays which is very nice.
Plenty of places to go for a drink and for food. No need to use the car whilst staying as most places are just a few minutes walk between.
If you are going out further, be sure to pre book your taxi

It is an attractive market town with a historic high street and an extensive waterfront. It also has a modern marina. There is a large Tesco Express with ample parking. There is a good range of pubs and restaurants. I had a very nice breakfast at Ye Olde White Harte Hotel on the riverfront.

Burnham on Crouch is a lovely small town with great walks. We went to a couple of bars and found the local community to be a very friendly bunch. It is such a treat when you walk to down a street in unfamiliar surroundings and you are greeted with a smile and a 'good evening'.
Burnham on Crouch is a very pleasant place to be.

It was good that each couple had their own bathroom and the property was very spacious. Everything was provided. We chose not to use the cafe for meals but it seemed very popular and busy.
The outdoor chairs a bit rickety, especially the ones without arms. Could possibly need replacement as were very weathered.
All in all a lovely place to gather and the staff were friendly and helpful.
