Amazing facility with a top-notch staff. We arrived by train, stayed 3 nights and used the bus to travel to other villages. The food was fantastic and our room was wonderful. Liz went above and beyond when we discovered our passports were left behind. She emailed us before we even realized they weren’t with us and then got them mailed overnight to us at our next stop! This was the perfect Cotswolds inn and exceeded our expectations in every way!

The room was superb. A tiny bit noisy because it was on the street side, but the village is generally quiet. We arrived late and had the Big Night In plateau with a pint. Absolutely perfect. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel and the food at dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had in the UK as a whole.

Only niggle for some basic needs: no paper towels in the kitchen.
Bathroom had no shampoo or conditioner as described in the welcome pack.
An 11:00 checkout would have been nicer as in most places. Considering we couldn’t not check in until 4pm so in reality we booked two days but only had 24 + 18 hours stay
