The room was very clean, modern, well maintained with lots of details thought about. The house was set behind but visible from the shops lining the main high street, so traffic noise was not an issue. There was a complimentary bottle of spring water, a range of hot drinks and biscuits, secure lockable double-glazed windows, which you could open to allow fresh air in, and a huge range of television channels including Netflix. There was a clear notice on the back of the door giving one the password for free WiFi. I liked having a work desk with comfortable upright chair.

Delightful host, comfortable, quiet, clean room and a lovely breakfast.
Minutes from Woodside Park Tube, Glenlyn Hotel has good access to the Wembley Complex, Alexandra Palace and Central London, without the Central London prices.
Convenient for Wembley and Alexandra Palace, Heatherbank Guest House offers good value and high standards in North Finchley, 20 minutes from London city centre.
The friendliness of the neighbourhood. The access to restaurants and cafes - there is such a variety of cuisines! The access to transport - easy access to greater London by car or train. Plus a big Sainsbury's on the High St.

My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

Beautiful grounds and an attractive lodge for a quiet, peaceful visit, just off the M25. A great place to stay outside of London, with a direct tube line to South Kensington if you wish to visit the Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. The tube is about 6-8 mins walk depending on your stride length....so all in all it is a good base to explore as well.

whilst on booking .com website it states free parking no reservation needed we received parking fine.we had registered car at check in.when we queried it with hotel they told us to send in photo evidence of the fine letter. so they can cancel it.we are waiting confirmation of this.the fact they have the ability to do this begs the question why say free parking then subject patrons to this upset
Lovely hotel with friendly team of staff. Blonde lady on Reception particularly helpful.
Room much larger than expected, very clean and we had a comfy quiet nights sleep even though it was a Saturday night. Before we arrived I was a bit unsure how good location would be for getting into central London but buses were very frequent with bus stop just 1min walk from hotel and nearest tube only 3 stops from Camden so perfect.
Fan put in room was very welcome as was a warm day. Would be happy to recommend to anyone.
Comfy, clean with a helpful and friendly staff. While across London with an hour and a half journey, having Heathrow and Cockfosters on the Picadilly Underground (tube) line meant a no change trip from the airport. Brooklyn House is about a ten minute walk to the tube and then about a 30 minute trip into Central London. Further it is on the bus route to the station with the bus stop over the road. The Cockfosters village is about a ten minute walk providing the essentials with a great baker shop.
Stayed last weekend with my sister in Room 11 - very comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean, everything about it was good. Check in staff and check out staff very professional and friendly. It was far better value than a hotel room in London.
One small thing - could stops/cups be put under the castors on the beds as they tended to "fly" across the room when one sits on the side :) Otherwise beds very, very comfortable as well as the duvets. Great nights sleep.
The house is located very close to buses and an underground station. Easy to move around London. Although in a central area, the house is very quiet. The house was immaculate and homely. The owner was warm, friendly, and very helpful. We all slept well on comfortable beds. The facilities were very good. Breakfast had a good variety of produce and the hot food was cooked fresh and great quality.
The accommodation was excellent. The owners were brilliant and very welcoming, they ensured we had everything we needed and more. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect - even helping us work out a route to a concert we had booked. All of the facilities were to a high standard, and we would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a trip to London.
The location is amazing for Finchley and for the City Centre, with a tube station at the end of the road that the hotel is on. I've stayed here lots of times before and have always been happy. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is really good. The hotel has a really nice garden and the breakfast is served in the conservatory which is nice. Comfy beds and rooms are kept very clean.
This Guest house is a little gem. Just outside London but very close to the tube station. Usha the owner was very kind and helpful. Gave us lots of advise where to go with the children. The beds and pillows were so comfy. We had a tv and coffee making facilities, plenty of towels and free parking availability. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going again.
Fantastic guest house. We stayed in the four person room and it was so spacious and comfortable. The beds were great and it had a lovely big bathroom. Parking was a real advantage as we arrived late at night and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station which takes you straight into central London. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
My double room was large and very comfortable. I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist who arranged an early check in for me. Continental breakfast was included with the room (not an extra £10 as I had thought it would be). The hotel is in a nice area, minutes walk from the tube station and a large Sainsbury’s grocery shop.
The restaurant below is beautiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The bedding was top quality crisp and clean. The location is fantastic and who knew how lovely Barnett would be.
Free parking facilities in front of the hotel and a good price for one night only. I guess for this area of London the price is good and you should expect what you pay for. Bed was comfortable and pillows were good.
Very friendly welcoming owner, and very helpful. Gave us advice on best way to get to where we needed to go in London.
Ideal location for what we wanted, only a short walk to tube stations and a really nice area
Great hotel in a lovely location, surrounded by an arboretum. Room in main building was comfortable and good-sized. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Handy for train services into London city.
Staff were friendly and happy to arrange early check in. Room was clean and warm and nicely appointed. Hotel was well situated - walking distance to High Barnet tube, with nice cafés nearby.
