Wonderful location with sea view from the cosy sitting room which is upstairs. Roomy bedroom and excellent shower. Close to a beautiful beach with no dog restrictions. Nice local pub and good restaurants nearby.
Bamburgh is charming. The castle dominates and the setting is dramatic. There is a butcher near the hotel who sells pies etc and a restaurant which specialises in seafood albeit at a price. Parking is easy and it's nice to be able to walk to such a pleasant beach even when it's windy and unseasonally cool.

Dominated by the castle, Bamburgh is a lovely piece of Northern English history. The church is hugely historic and well worth a visit, as well as the Grace Darling museum. Good restaurants and pubs and a beach with a view to die for round off the offer - amazing to think all that is packed into a small town.

Bamburgh seems a lovely place but we were surprised that there didn't seem to be a general shop or an obvious one. The range of eating places is not wide and and the ones offered seemed quite expensive. However we decided to eat in the hotel and that turned out to be a good decision.

Great for dogs, lot of dogs staying there and all well behaved and under control.
Nice pet friendly pubs and restaurants.
No late opening shops and very few buses, last bus to and from bamburgh was 19:30 ish, not an easy walk to anywhere else after dark as no street lamps on coast roads.

The Victoria Hotel was brilliant, staff Fantastic, breakfast was included and it was great each morning. We ate at the hotel for two evenings and the food was divine. One of the nights we ate at the potted lobster and that was also 10/10 for a fish restaurant we couldn't ask for more. Would definitely recommend it 👌 👍

We only stayed for two nights - there's lots of history there and we really enjoyed the castle, beach and church. Delicious food readily available and we're planning to return for a longer trip as lots to see in the area.
Lovely room which was clean and modern with a TV, with really comfy beds. Not to mention there's a hot tub!
Welcomed in by Billy who is a brilliant host and helped make our stay memorable (along with his adorable Dachshund Reggie!). Great to meet you Billy, we hope to come up again in the future for a longer stay next time.
Lots of great places to visit just a stone's throw away including Bamburgh, Alnwick, and Seahouses, but also the lovely town of Berwick. Food and drink in the area is sublime.
The location is amazing for the view and quiet, great for dogs also. When asked if could take dogs in message the reply was yes which is great but wasn’t mentioned a charge per dog per night. Alright to pay extra but Would love more commutation though.
Bamburgh castle close by which is Beautiful! Unfortunately we were upstairs which didn’t work well for us as too low. Beautiful views from lounge/ dining area and also bedroom, straight out to sea and side window view of bamburgh castle.
Fabulous location in Bamburgh. Parking on site.
The hotel is immaculately presented in every way. The staff are more than helpful and very friendly. My room was spotless and very comfortable. WiFi is brilliant throughout the property. Breakfast is as good as you will find in a 5 star hotel.
I'm not a complainer unless I have very good reason to do so but The Sunningdale is totally faultless and perfect in every way. Highly recommended!!
Perfect accommodation for our family holiday. We loved that you could see the beach from the front door (just a short walk across the road). Great communication from hosts, spacious, clean cottage with all amenities we required. Location was ideal for a short drive to Bamburgh and Seahouses. Lovely quiet seating area outside the cottage too.
Bamburgh under canvas was a delightful and a well located escape from the businesses of daily life. The views were spectacular and the Yurt was well thought thru with some little luxuries to enhance the holiday. Loved that we had a hot shower with complementary soap. We would definitely recommend Bamburgh under the canvas!
Perfect location for visiting the Northumberland coast. within walking distance of Bamburgh Castle. Hotel was very well run with all amenities and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Brasserie offered great food.
Location, spaciousness, facilities… complete things like washing machine, dishwasher, oven, stove , Henry ( love Henry’s in Uk) every cottage we stayed in and hotels seem to have Henry’s, cute face… the product made a hit I guess and great sales….
The hotel is in a perfect position in Bamburgh . Visited the Castle and Seahouses. Went out in the boat Serenity to see the Farne Islands. Good commentary on the history of the islands. All in all a fantastic break.
The location of this apartment is great a couple of mins walk from Bamburgh center. It has its own dedicated parking space, quiet neighbours, kitchen is fully fitted with all the utensils needed,
It’s a great location - very quiet but close to Bamburgh. It has everything you need and is very comfortable. The directions to find it were easy and the company very efficient.
It’s quiet location and easy access to Bamburgh. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. Beautifully clean. Lovely shower room. Allocated parking in front of the property.
A well equipped, new, light and airy house. Outside decking and seating gave us a good view of the old quarry cliff face and the nesting birds. view of Bamburgh castle.
The location is fabulous with views to the sea and Bamburgh Castle.
Choice of local pubs and restaurants, but need to book restaurants as very busy.
Private parking.
Lovely and spacious, 2 mile away from Bamburgh and 5 ish from Seahouses. Lovely view of the bay. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved our stay.
