We also enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere
Terrianne was so hospitable that she came to check on us to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything.
Great facilities and plenty of hot water.
It was close to the shopping centre, takeaway and restaurant's as well as scenic areas and beaches.

Great place to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature a bit. Good food at the waipu cove pub, if a little pricey (the food is quite gourmet and the drink options were many)

A quite Town for a night or two night stay for a short...
A quite Town for a night or two night stay for a short weekend. Kids friendly pizza store and the waipu cave not too far but would recommend to have gumboots and Torch when visit with young kids. New Years day markets & night Ceilidh (Scottish dance). Busy rural town. Lots happening. Great art gallery in the old firestation. Nice cafes. Shops all open on the weekend. Close to Whangarei & Langs/Waipu Cove etc. Waipu has it's own museum - worth a look. Free parking in the town. Seems to be very dog friendly.

Lovely area, beautiful beach, plenty of coastal walks and bush walks in the area, close to other lovely beaches, Langs Beach, Mangawhai Heads. Loved the choice of beaches Waipu Cove, Lang’s and Mangawhai. Waipu Cove didn’t have much choice for eateries and the pub filled to capacity so I couldn’t eat there and this wasn’t very good considering it was only 6pm!

The bathroom was very spacious. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable also, i had asked for some cakes upon arrival as we were celebrating my partners bday and they had it set out as we entered the room...it was beautiful THANK YOU! The pool was refreshing and the late night spa pool was much needed. Thank you Waipu Cove for your great hospitality.

Easy walking distance to Waipu Beach for a walk followed by a beer in the pub also within walking distance. We ate at the same pub and it was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere and fantastic staff. The entire area is worth a visit once or twice a year at least.
