This hotel is located in the heart of Santa Margherita, surronded by tipical restaurant and shop, just a short walk to the bus stop or boat ride to Portofino or to the Cinque Terre.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel is small, very cozy, furnished with great taste. We arrived freezing and were immediately served hot tea. The same thing happened at night. To my surprise, upon leaving the hotel, the tea was not included in the bill:) The room has a balcony. The breakfast is great. To my great regret, we could not use the SPA.

We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much.
We enjoyed Santa Margherita Ligure very much. It was a delightful town by the beach. There are lots of different places to eat. There is an absolutely delightful walk to Portofino along the coast. In the other direction there is also a lovely walk to Rapallo.

This city is a must visit.
This city is a must visit. The city itself has plenty to offer, from shops to an array of great seafood restaurants. Awesome waterfront and the perfect connection, in whichever way suits you, on foot, by bus or ferry, to Portofino...and we did try all three.

Views fantastic. Choice of restaurants and bars good.food expensive. Weather iffy at times but didn't spoil our enjoyment. Coffee amazing. Food delicious. Transport to portofino awkward if ferry not running.

I would have rather stayed in Santa Margarita than in Cinque Terra. CT was nice but SM was larger, the feel was more holiday Mediterranean style, more restaurants, shops... a great base to stay and then take the train or ferries down to CT

I loved the area.
I loved the area. I would stay there and take day trips to Cinque Terre rather than staying there. Cinque Terre is very noisy. it’s less expensive to take the bus rather than the ferry to Portofino.because was a short ride. Even though we were a mile from town it was too long and uphill to walk back. Taxi rides are $30 each way. I wish we were closer to the strip. There were many shops and nice restaurants on the strip and in town. Beautiful place

The staff was nice, rooms standard size for italy but well organzied, clean and comfortable. The locations is awesome, the upper rooms with balconies are very great with beautiful views. If you have a car, you may find free parking on the street but they have a automatic underground car parking, its pretty cool and cost $20/night. The have a nice rooftop terrace, small with a cool dipping pool. Beach front loungers/umbreallas, breakfast great, outside seating. We had drinks outside. It was all great. Small elevators. :(
We have stayed in Hotel Argentina four or five times before this visit. The hotel is in an excellent location, in the now trndy Paraggi beach village. with good parking and easy access to the shuttle bus to overcrowded Portofino, one mile away.
Howevdr, this is the first time we have had a room with a beautiful terrace, which expands the value of the experience. The beach and the surronding tree covered hills rising from Paraggi's bay prfesent a beautiful view while relaxing.
I loved the breakfast, it felt very home-y and was good. The room was tidy and neat but not the most comfortable. It was a tight room, with a very tight bathroom. The bed and pillows are not very comfortable. The bathroom amenities are great though. The hotel's location was great, hidden away but just the right distance from the sea and beaches of Santa Margherita. The staff and their hospitality was overall the best thing about this hotel.
The location was excellent. As we travelled by car the hotel provided parking fo a fee. Once unloaded the car was taken to a parking spot and on checkout brought to our room for loading the luggage.
The tasty macarons in our room was a pleasant touch.
We were in walking distance to town , beach, ferry. The hotel also provided suggested restaurants and bars for Santa Margherita and Potofino.
Don’t hesitate to stay at this property.
This hotel should be much more recommended than it is now.
We got a very large room, very comfortable and absolutely clean.
It is ONE minute from the center.
Great breakfast and Kind reception clerk.
10/10.
The location is gorgeous for the amazing views. I have been traveling to Santa Margherita for over 20 years, and never stayed at Continental (mostly stayed at the more expensive hotel across the street). Continental is definitely more than worth it!
This property is by far our favorite during our 3 week trip in Italy. The service is outstanding, room was beautiful with terrace. gorgeous pool and restaurant terrace is outstanding. Beach club a bonus and breakfast was wonderful.
Our room was clean and spacious with an enormous terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were incredible especially the head waiter Mareno . We would definitely stay at Hotel Continental the next time we are in the area.
Perfect location and value for money for the area. Breakfast really good, all fresh and good quality, served with a smile. Very helpful staff, charming little hotel on the best beach. Good bathroom, spotlessly clean.
Our room was very good size for three people. The location is a bit far from the centre and beaches but it has a nice view. Breakfast was OK - it is almost the same in every hotel I have been in Italy.
Lovely friendly hotel. Great location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. We loved our stay here in Santa Margherita. The perfect stay would return again!
True Italian experience, beautiful Hosts and great comfortable apartment. Would stay here again next time we come to Italy. Loved Santa Margerita more than Portifino.
