We loved the pool the whole hotel and grounds, staff were wonderful. Rooms spacious and clean although I did find the lighting a little dark. Great bathroom and plenty wardrobe space. We loved the breakfast and the Asian Fusion restaurant was amazing.

It was a long drive inside from the main highway but once we reached the place , it was a hidden gem with absolutely stunning views.
The breakfast was very nice with fresh ingredients, my husband loved the fresh salmon on his toast and I enjoyed the vegan grilled plate .

This was my 4th trip to Linthwaite House. Every single time has been as amazing as the last. The hotel is more than worth the price. Absolutely everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff, the bar, the food, the grounds, the tarn and the resident ducks, the location. Literally everything!
I stayed in the suite with hot tub and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The room is exceptional and breathtaking even after 4 stays there.
I felt like I was coming home. All of the staff remembered me and asked about my daughter (who has been with me on all previous trips). The room was as perfect as always. The other hotel guests were all friendly and just there for their own relaxation. Staff cannot do enough for you. It may sound daft but it feels, even after just 4 trips, like you're going home and the staff are kind of an extended family.

Location is good for seeing lots of places. We travelled by car and there is plenty of parking. Staff are so pleasant and helpful.
I cannot fault anything to be honest.
A tip would be to take bathrobes for when you finish swimming and then you can change at your property because it can get a little bit crowded when the next booking of the swimming pool come in. Slots are booked so that you and your family can have the pool to yourselves privately.
