This was my fourth time at the Chryssi Akti and I love everything about this hotel and the staff.
The location is perfect, right on the beach with sun loungers and beach towels provided free of charge to hotel guests. There is also drinks service on the beach and you can just charge your drinks to your room so no need for cash or cards.
There is a pool area too if you're not a fan of swimming in the sea.
The rooms and communal areas are always exceptionally clean with daily housekeeping service from super friendly staff.
The staff at the hotel go out of their way to help with anything! They're always polite, welcoming, friendly and it's so nice to see many of the same people working there each time I visit.
As a solo female traveller, I feel so safe and comfortable staying here and looking forward to returning in a few months time

Excellent and very helpful host, offered very accurate suggestions (food, places to visit). The room had a nice view, was clean and was serviced daily. The location is excellent, less than 10' slow walk from the town centre and yet away enough from the night life noise. A pleasant surprise was the relatively quiet fridge, which is usually an issue in similar properties. Pictures are accurate too, what you see is what you get. I would highly recommend it and would surely stay there again.

Great location. The view of the sea from the swimming pool and our room were amazing. The owners and staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean rooms and grounds; comfortable beds; ample parking; very good breakfast buffet. Look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Andros.

Everything! The studio was contemporary furnished, renewed, still very cycladic, with big beds and spotlessly clean! It was a pleasure to stay in! The owner is so nice- helpful but not intruding! There is plenty of shaded space for parking. The town of Batsi is a jewel! It is very beautiful, with nice tavernas and bars and fishing boat quays, and beautiful beaches near by (we liked very much Colona beach).
Villa Nefeli is situated by the beach in Batsi village, surrounded by nature. The traditional, self-catering studios have balconies with panoramic sea views. There is free parking and Wi-Fi.

Batsi is a very pretty town with a clean, beautiful beach.
Batsi is a very pretty town with a clean, beautiful beach. We visited in early - mid October and it was pleasantly quiet however, this also means half the restaurants and shops are closed. For this time of year it seemed to be the best town on the island in terms of facilities

Batsi is a delightful small village with its own sheltered harbour. It is quiet through the day, most activity related to the beach. The village comes alive in the evening around the harbour, where there is a host of tavernas and restaurants spilling out onto the street and harbourside.
Batsi is a great base for walking with many well marked and maintained paths.
Public transport isn't great, so if you want to venture further afield, a form of transport is pretty much a necessity. Batsi is about 5 miles from Gavriou where the ferry docks, a taxi from there into Batsi is 15euro (sep 23 prices).

Batsi is a very nice destination for couples and families.
Batsi is a very nice destination for couples and families. There are a lot of beaches, restaurants, and bars for every taste. It's everything very close that you don't even need a car. And if you want to visit another village or a further beach, there are options as taxi or buses. There are not a lot of activities during the day except the beach, but in the evening and nights is the only go to destination for the island.

Extended my stay twice, was planning on bouncing around to other islands but decided Andros was where I wanted to be. Not swamped by tourists, all beaches felt almost private, priced well, easy to walk around. Scooter and car rentals both available, if you want to go around the island i recommend renting because public transport is mainly for ferry service, limited.

Batsi it's the perfect point where to stay in Andros if you have a car and want to visit all the Island. Andros is big and Batsi it's in the middle of the island to cover every distance.
I find also that the Port here is really nice and you can find really everything: bars, modern or typical Greek restaurant, shops and a really nice walk on the see.
Andros is not the typical cycladic island and i don't write that in a bad way. This island has a strong identity. We liked it a lot. After many years around Greece I can say that Andros is worthy at least one week of stay.
There is a lot of to visit, also in Chora (wonderful), with amazing panoramas and museums.
If you are asking to yourself "why Batsi and not Chora" the answer is only inside of you! We loved both.
Chora is more distant, if you have children maybe you wont to travel less with the car to reach the beaches, that's the big difference for me.
Now let me suggest our favorite restaurant in Batsi: Mise Me Li, hided in a small alley but it's worthy to find it. Yes, it's not with see view, but you spend all day to the beach and believe me this is a place where you want to eat. Tradition meet the fantasy of young owners that want to make the difference and they do it. Absolutely to try.
Another couple of really good restaurants: Cavo D'oro and Kantouni.
Hotel/Studio or whatever you prefer: Batsi is vibrant, if you prefer the quiet choose a place south of Batsi, on the way out after loukouBomb (great loukoumades) or in the back of the town.
Restaurants and bar in the evening can be a bit noise till late, but nothing to be too much concerned about.
About the car, if you plan holidays here book in advance your car because on Andros there are only 3 or 4 car rentals and they are always fully booked almost.
Have nice holidays!
Amazing hotel with exceptional facilities.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a little terrace with the most wonderful view over Batsi. Breakfast had a variety of traditional options and everything was tasty! The pool was clean and big and we enjoyed our coffee relaxing a few times.
The hotel is situated 5 min on foot from Batsi, a great place with restaurants, bars and clubs as well as beaches.
All in all, excellent experience, would totally recommend!!!
This place slowly grows on you…. Nicely positioned with its own beach, beach bar and great staff…. We were early in the season so quiet ….lovely room, with our own housemartin nesting outside 😁 breakfast covered all the bases ….well placed hotel and wonderful staff …. If you don’t mind walking the restaurants etc are 1 km along the road …. Which meant it was quiet and secluded ….. we liked the walk back after a large Greek supper …..
Everything was amazing! Lovely house with a breathtaking view over the Agean Sea. Beautiful interior with nice traditional cycladic details. Very clean and a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of privacy in and around the house, and a short walking distance (through a very steep street) to two lovely beaches and one taverna. Hosts were welcoming and accomodating! A true Andros treasure, highly recommended!
We stayed in a suite - an added bonus as it was a free upgrade!
Wow - what a room. The balcony is absolutely amazing! Private, huge, with loungers and chairs and a stunning 180 degree view of the sea. I definitely recommend this room type!
The breakfast was great, and the lovely ladies who run the hotel are so friendly, helpful and put a lot of love and care into what they do.
The hotel is a wonderful experience with beautiful contempory architecture inspired by the ancient buildings of the island. The staff is very friendly. For people with some hiking expierience, the lovely village of Batsi is easy accesible by foot. The privacy of the rooms is incredible with a great view on the sea and the village.
We had a beautiful room with a seaview. Eating breakfast outside was a must with the view. The area Batsi is lovely and studios are within walking distance to everything. Our host Georgia was one of the best hosts we've ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for her to make our stay pleasant. We strongly recommend Scenic Studio.
The perfect place to relax, the beach in front has its own sunbeds for hotel guests and you can order a drink or food. Breakfast had lots of choices and seating is plentiful even if you have to wait a little if you'd like to sit outside. The location is great, close to everything.. Batsi is very small and picture perfect :)
The villa is located in an ideal part of the island close to other restaurants too. The breakfast was phenomenal loved every part of it (various greek dishes). The owner and staff of the villa were very hospitable and accommodating, we felt very much at home. I would stay here again when I go back to Andros :)
This is a fantastic hotel with atmosphere of home. The location is perfect, the first thing which one sees waikng up is a beautiful sea. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Nicholas was very helpful, gave excellent recommendations, and made our vacation
very pleasant and unforgettable.
Maria was incredible. Very welcoming and always willing to help. She really takes good care of her guests and her suites. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Andros!! We will definitely go back.
Exceptional on keeping it clean. And the location was perfect
Mrs Geogina and her son Alexandros are very kind. The room is 5 minutes walk (with many stairs) to the port of Batsi. So you can reach restaurant and bakery without take the car. Fantastic view on the Aegean see from the room. Ideal for family with children.
Thumbs up.
people make you feel like home! ambience of hotel and the essence of a neoclassical era. the mattress was super comfy. the sunset comes directly on your balcony. the beach underneath one of the best of the island. and breakfast with the piano sounds exceptional!
This hotel is located in the center of the city. It is not luxurious, yet very clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding: kind, polite and professional. Special thanks to Sofia who helped us throughout… even from the time we were still in the US.
Really welcoming friendly and helpful. Villa Pitsa is easy to find and perfectly located overlooking the sea.
It is quiet and peaceful and only 2 minutes walk away from Batsi village which has excellent restaurants, and a lovely harbour.
Great little hotel/apartments that's perfect for a family. Being that it was at the top of the hill, the views were amazing. The innkeepers are very nice and helpful. Sweet people. I really enjoyed this property.
Everything was wonderful. From transportation from the port, to check in, and every single interaction with Anna. She helped find great restaurants and things to do on Andros. We did not want to leave.
Great hotel in batsi, rooms are comfortable and the beach is 5 minutes walk (stairs) away. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 small kids) and it was super!! The breakfest is also good.
The pool area was nice
Nice beach next to hotel with a nice taverna
Waiter at the pool bar very nice
Very good value for money
I liked the location very much close to Batsi
