I booked a twin room for me and my friend. I didn’t even realise I’d only clicked one person when booking. We did the half marathon and came in after a night out and got absolutely descend on about 4 different when we came in. We were flat out told my best friend couldn’t stay, no option of paying extra even though we’d split the room. I finally had to ask for a manager because of course she wasn’t sleeping outside and we had to pay £40 extra. When we went for breakfast and went up ti the buffet for about 5 mins they cleared our table and took my jacket when I came back they told em I couldn’t have the hit breakfast if ordered. The rooms are out dated. The policy is clearly money grabbing. Really disappointed with this spot. The location is ideal

Just returned with the family from a weekend stay at the cottage. Very modern, spotless, cosy little cottage with everything you need for a stay. Kitchen with everything you need to prepare or cook food. There was bread, milk and butter for us and some fruit for the children. Lovely bathroom with a big shower. Also beautiful well maintained garden around it. The hosts were so nice a lovely family with children. Although the property is somewhat attached to theirs it's very private and may as well be on its own. The hot tub was a big hit with children we relaxed in the evenings in it. Although it is behind their property again it's very private they closed blinds at the rear of their home. They have a friendly little dog Honey that came over to see us for a wee pet 🥰. The field beside also has 3 donkeys that the children enjoyed going to feed. They gave us ideas of things to do while there. We took a trip to carlingford and slieve Gullion that the children enjoyed. We would love to come stay with yous again. Great value for money. Thankyou for having us.

Newry is my home town with only 3 hotels in the vicinity and a handful of apartments. I stayed at The Beeches, a superb addition to the apartments on here. Newry is a compact city with a good range of restaurants and shopping centres. It is an excellent base to explore Carlingford Lough (both shores), the Mournes and Slieve Gullion Country Park.

The people were really friendly, right from the moment we arrived at the train station, everyone was very helpful. There is a free shuttle bus from the train station to the centre of Newry. Ideal for shopping with 2 shopping centres and loads of lovely places to eat. Lovely pubs with live music for a night out. Also easy to get to Belfast for a visit. We had dinner in Bellini’s and drinks and great band in The Bridge Pub. When In a hurry one evening and looking for something to eat quickly, we went to Friar Tucks. Food was delicious in both places.

If you're looking for a taste of small village life in Ireland, this is a great place to stay. It's fairly well situated about halfway between Dublin and Belfast (an hour + drive in either direction). People are friendly and very helpful. Slieve Gullion is a mountain nearby with ancient significance and great hiking.

We stayed in the townlabd of Ballymartin, a rural retreat with excellent views of the Mourne mountains with easy access to local towns, Annalong, Newcastle, Kilkeel, Rostrevor, and Warrenpoint. Also easy access to local beauty spots, such as Tullymore Forest Park, and direct access to the Mournes e.g. Slieve Donard.
The location was absolutely wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the sun rise and set over the ocean and the mountians right behind us. Sitting in the hot tub at night was amazing with all the stars and practically no light around us.
The house is located right near a bunch of hiking trails and a dinner, so we were able to grab some delicious breakfast and spend the day hiking.
This place was worth the stay simply for its location and fair price compared to everything else in the area, especially traveling with a larger family.
Willow Tree Farm house was the perfect home away from home for our family get together! The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you could need for a few nights away. The owners were so helpful with any questions we had. The house is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 7 adults. As it is only 1 hour from Dublin and 40 minutes from Belfast it is a great location, and Newry town center is just minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be back!
I always receive a fabulous welcome. The hotel is fantastic and great value.
All of the team are brilliant and are so helpful and professional.
I have stayed here multiple times and will return for each business trip. I highly recommend this lovely hotel and all of the team. Great food too and it's a very popular place to eat with the local community which is always a great sign.
The location was perfect, beside great bars and places to eat and very close to shopping areas. The rooms were pristine, decorated to a high standard and had loads of little extras that made us feel at home. The host Sheila was excellent, almost did not want to give this good review as we want to keep it secret for ourselves!
Very nice area near Mourne Mountains, less than 1 hour drive Belfast City centre. The pub and hotel in the village serve delicious food at affordable prices.
The house is big, clean and good Internet, tv and wii console. Seán was great to deal with. The key collection was easily arranged, and we weren't rushed when leaving
The location was fantastic. It was so easy to access. It was exactly like the pictures on booking.com . I was very impressed. We go to Newry a few times a year and we always stay in a hotel. I now have a new place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return
The property is beautiful! Well-kept and beautifully designed. They were very responsive, especially Grace who attended to all our queries with urgency. Located in central part of Newry with lots near restaurants and supermarkets. It was also near the bus stop.
Staff were great and the facilites were fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in the Newry. The location is good for the motorway access and also a short drive into the centre on Newry.
Great hotel, I travled for work visit some clients and they advised me on this property. was a very grand hall way with a great choice of a nice sit down fancy meal or a seperate pub style dinner with the sport on.
Fabulous casual sitting areas through out the hotel. Very warm and inviting. The staff where very attentive without being over the top nothing was too much trouble.
