Myojo-ji Temple is 32 km from the ryokan, while Keta-taisha Shrine is 37 km away. The nearest airport is Noto Airport, 45 km from Togiso 能登の古民家宿. Very disappointing and not caring staff, close to being rude. We felt not welcome. The village is empty and the Noto peninsula cost is a jewel destroyed by the earthquake.

There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan has family rooms. Very traditional ryokan. Comfortable foutons, garden view. Friendly staff, great breakfast and onsen was an unique experience. We made friends in the nearby izakaya :)

Rooms all offer ocean views and a tatami (woven-straw) with a low table and seating cushions. Some rooms have traditional futon bedding, and all are fitted with a fridge and an LCD TV. A safe is provided, and female guests can choose a colourful yukata robe to borrow. Excellent stay, and the view of the bay from the room was amazing. Both meals were delicious, and we had them in a private room. Also, there were a few private baths. The service staff were amiable and helpful. It is worth a trip to this remote area of the Noto Peninsula.

This 3-star ryokan offers full-day security and a housekeeping service. The ryokan features family rooms. We had luck that it was raining while we were in the outdoor spa. The rain falling and sea splashing made the hot bath extremely memorable.

An LCD TV, safe and yukata robes are provided, while the attached bathroom comes with toiletries. The building is obviously aged, and we were concerned what the room might be like when we first saw the carpets in the corridors (which need an upgrade) but were pleasantly surprised with the room given previous ratings and reviews. The traditional dinner was an amazing experience. Customer service wonderful.
