Located on a hill, Log Hotel Larch Lake Kanayama provides log houses and maisonette-type suites with a balcony, lake views and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy massage treatments and paid-use bicycles. Such a nice big cabin, well heated, staff were wonderful! Beautiful area! Read on a previous review that there was a gas smell from the heating which made me worry but there was no gas smell at all! It was an incredibly pleasant stay.

Featuring free bikes and a garden, Ryokan Sansui is located in Furano, 3.1 km from Prince Snow Resort Furano. The owner was wonderful, very helpful. The central location is near many good restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the train station.

The hotel on the highest altitude in Hokkaido at 1,280 metres high, Ryounkaku features outdoor and indoor hot spring baths, a 5-minute walk from the ski area at Mount Furano-dake. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the location is perfect for backcountry skiing in the winter. The onsen is wonderful.

Situated in Furano and only 7.6 km from Furano Station, Yukiumi Furano features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The vibes were amazing, very nice interior design and the staff was a very friendly person that we got along with very well, we chatted over some drinks for hours and enjoyed his company very much. There were games we could play including a nintendo 64 board games and cards.

Located right in the Tokachigawa hot spring area, Kamihoroso offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Real Japanese hotel, so nice and friendly staff. It was perfect, thank you so much! Very nice Onsen and incredible views down to the valley.

A 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from JR Furano Train Station, Minshuku Mutsukari offers simple Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very welcoming owner and proactive with the ipad to translate to my language. It’s a bit old fashioned but that makes it more charming. Hot bath, ryokan style beds.
