On the shores of Lake Ashinoko, Hakone Hotel offers hot spring public baths, free property-wide WiFi, beautiful nature views and restaurants serving French cuisine and Teppanyaki dishes. The spacious rooms have a private bathroom and a seating area with sofa.

Love the room as they upgraded us to the better room that faces direct to the lake and Mount Fuji. Although 1st 2 days Mt Fuji was covered by bad weather and we got to see Mt Fuji on the morning we checked out. Hotel one n is public so I went near midnight but still meet with few users. Delicious breakfast although main is different types of eggs which have to be ordered.

Surrounded by bamboo trees and hills, Yoshimatsu is a traditional Sukiya-style Ryokan (inn) with beautiful outdoor hot spring baths. Overlooking Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi, it provides a free shuttle from Hakone Machi Bus Station.

It is a wonderful traditional ryokan, just bellow Mt Fuji. Amazing garden, five-star food quality, and most of all, extremely nice staff. Two onsens, you can try both as they change man/woman twice a day. They also have a private one, but didn't try.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Ryuguden is located next to the picturesque Lake Ashi in Hakone. Guests can relax in Japanese-style guest rooms fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. The property is a 5-minute walk to Hakone-En Ropeway Station, which goes up to the observatory at the top of the mountain.

The onsen was really good especially the outdoor one! The dinner and breakfast was very delicious and pretty. Would love to go back again!

All rooms have a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a bath and shower. In addition, the hot spring bath can be reserved for private use after dinner. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer.

Everything was exceptional from the very beginning, the staff was always helpful and polite, the facilities are so authentic and unique. The hotel has a few rooms so you feel like all the staff is always pending on you without being invasive. There is always one lady that is attentive on all you need and the one who serves you the traditional Japanese breakfast at your room each morning. We stayed at the room with private onsen and was a dream it is so worth the price. The room was all tatami and was divided by 5 main sections the bedroom, the massive living room a small kitchen area and the bathroom area which included a vanity room/ toilet room and shower room plus the private onsen. All for us. We also asked for the massage services which were provided on the first floor of the hotel and were also exceptional. The last day was a sunny day so we were able to see Mount Fuji from the main reception. As from our room the view was blocked by trees but it’s part of being on the hill around by forest. If you are looking to immerse yourself into the real Japanese experience, this is the best place.

Great location, nice park and walk along historical stream. Large window however would have preferred a room with a Mt Fuji view, we were on the other side. Onsen on 14th floor with Mt Fuji view. Had a delicious eel dish at a well known restaurant.

It was very close to Mishima station, surprised it had a small onsen, and surprisingly spacious interior. Also the staff were English friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located near Mishima station, offering excellent proximity to the Shinkansen. The view of Mt Fuji from the hotel was lovely. The room was especially spacious, which made it easy to store and use large suitcases. We also liked the free amenities including ice creams, noodles, tea and coffee, massage chairs, and onsens for both men and women.

The room was very spacious & clean with Mt Fuji view. Everything was sparkling clean with thoughtful toiletries like cleanser & moisturiser. The onsen was good but feels like ordinary hot tap water. In addition, you can watch Netflix, which most hotels in Japan do not provide. The location was excellent, just 5 mins walk from train stn.

We absolutely loved the free popsicles and Yakault provided on the Onsen level, and the free late night ramen in the dining room! The onsen was lovely. Staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. The room size was amazing for Japan! We were lucky enough to have a view of Mount Fuji from our room. It was a pleasure to stay at Dormy Inn Mishima, would definitely stay here again!
