Pleasant stay, very clean and organised. Nice traditional breakfast and the hotel has a souvenir shop inside. Nice and clean bath. The room was very big for 1 person and very comfortable with individual bath included.

The views and the gardens were great. We were right on the river, and the views from the baths were great. The rural location was serene and peaceful, and the hot spring baths were great
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
The host is a friendly and lovely lady who does her best to keep the guest house clean and running smoothly. She lived in a house next door and seemed to rather overwhelmed running the guest house by herself.
We liked our room, though it was snug with our three futons and bags. We stayed two rainy nights.
Comfy futons. Good public onsen bath. Bathroom was sufficient. Fairly good location. Staff was amazing - helped us carry out luggages from the street to the reception area.
This ryokan is a bit off the path around Kochi but the main reason for the stay was the onsen, which more than met the expectations as listed on their website. The onsen had so many places to sit and enjoy the hot springs water, and the quality of the water was great (hot with a lot of dissolved minerals).
Close to the station, with tatami floor and futon beds. Perfect experience as a local type of accomodation. Breakfast was sufficient and onsen is nice.
