Amazing property! We rented a cabin for two nights and loved our stay. There was everything we needed in the house. The location is also very convenient for cross-country skiing or walks. I highly recommend booking a sauna in advance. It comes at an extra cost but is totally worth it.

This traditional family-run property is in the mountain village of Høvringen, next to Rondane National Park. It provides home-cooked Norwegian cuisine and a bookable sauna. Parking is free.
Guests can relax and mingle in the cosy fireplace lounge, which includes a small library. A playground for children and ski storage and barbecue facilities are also available.
Putten Setter is located at "the top" of mountains and you will experience amazing views from nearby hills.
Cottage is overall clean, nice and equipped (however some older kitchen equipment could be maybe replaced).
But, I really recommend this place and would like to come back some day.

Our stay here was excellent. The flat is well equipped, quiet and spacious. Hans was a lovely host collecting us from the station and even rescuing us when we got lost on the hillside walking home! We would recommend staying here.

The owners were so nice and interesting, they truly make this place worth it. The couple is working beautifully together. The diner was one of the best diners we've had in Norway, she is a great cook and was very mindful of our dietary restrictions. We were able to enjoy the fireplace after diner, so relaxing. Breakfast by the fireplace was great too.
The owners were super helpful and friendly and gave us good tips on what to do around the area. The food was incredible. The breakfast one could select the night before and it was ready at the given time. The dinner was a 3 course meal and really delicious. We would recommend to have the dinner there. It is a lovely place in a beautiful area in Norway.
