Free private parking is available on site. The location was perfect with a great view above the town. We arrived super late and the hosts got us all arranged so our arrival went really smoothly and we were able to shower and get to bed quickly. They were super communicative through the booking messenger. The cabin was cozy, parking was super easy and right outside and we slept really well away from the hustle in the (small) town center.

The view was mixed with mountains, river and fjord. It was beautiful and relaxing. And of course food. It wasn't just good. Usually i find good food in Oslo but you need to search for it and usually its well known restaurants. But here food was on next level. I was eating Bolognese pasta and found my self thinking is this the best pasta i am eating right now? :) So don't think twice skip overpriced Geiranger hotel's and enjoy Petrines guests house :)

Just 15 km south of Stranda village, Overvoll Farm is a home stay situated a 15-minute drive from Hellesylt Ferry terminal and connections to Geiranger. It offers free WiFi and parking. Facilities include a garden, BBQ facilities and shared kitchen. I loved everything about my stay at Overvoll Farm! From the warm welcome, the delicious dinner (consisting of homemade deer stew), the stimulating conversation with fellow guests, the heated bathroom floors & water pressure in the shower, the cloud like mattress & pillows dressed in soft linen, to the unbelievable breakfast spread with freshly prepared baked goods, eggs of all variety, local jams, cheese, granola, porridge, juice & coffee! Meeting Hege Kristin & her family and sharing a meal with them was a definite highlight of my stay. They also maintain & operate a 9-hole golf course!

Very clean and modern cabin. Comfortable beds and functional layout. Great porch to sit on and enjoy a morning coffee or meal. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

The charming design hotel and surrounding coastal village has a history dating back to the 16th century. Loved the setting, the quiet elegance, the lovely decor and furniture. Enjoyed the celebration of the generations of family having lived there in Angvik. The dining was exceptional and sophisticated. It was truly a memorable stay.

Håholmen Havstuer’s cosy, cabin-style rooms feature free Wi-Fi internet access, wooden floors and a private bathroom. Some are housed in traditional buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.
