They received us as if we were guests in their home. The room had a lovely view of the fort wall and ocean. The linen and bed was great and the bathroom clean and beautiful. There was a cupboard with hanging space. The breakfast was great and substantial. The location is perfect and we could easily walk everywhere.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.4 km from Narigama beach. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and it was clean. There were both an AC and a fan in the room. The breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful. Pool was enjoyable. Location quite close to the beach. Overall very nice stay.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s young cricketers. Beautiful, intimate, and incredible service!

Perched on a hilltop and providing a view of the famous Unawatuna Beach, The Horizon Hill Top Villa is located in Dalawella, 800 metres from Dalawella beach. It is 600 metres from Sri Yoga Shala. Free WiFi access is available. Yoga sessions can be arranged. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. Room is a bit dated but ok

L&D Lodge is located just 100 metres from the Hikkaduwa Beach. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. It provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests.

Each air-conditioned room here will provide you with a cable TV, patio and a balcony. There is also a refrigerator. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. You can enjoy river view and garden view from the room. I note that I was asked to move into a building nearby the L&D Inn. L&D Inn. and L&D Lodge have a good location - close to the ocean. This is a new hotel with modern renovation, a wonderful shower, toilet, large room, beautiful view from the window, air conditioning, lots of light, hot water - everything works. It was important for me to have Wi-Fi, it’s generally ok, but there are severe slowdowns in speed, and once there was a power outage (but not for long). For a small fee, a large kitchen with a refrigerator and a gas stove for cooking is available. I would recommend visiting a nearby restaurant with European and Russian cuisine "Cool Spot", and a supermarket Sandagiri Super Market (Pvt) Ltd.
