They provided bottled water, toiletries, and separate towels for the pool. The pool area was also immaculate, it looked like a travel brochure picture every single day. They have a bar by the pool where you can buy drinks and food. It's very reasonably priced and was honestly better than the food and cocktails at very expensive restaurants: delicious and really well presented. It's a really short walk to central Fira and is even closer to a supermarket and a place to get good gyros (Golden Grill). Last but definitely not least, the staff we great! They were really helpful and attentive, but would also have a bit more of a friendly chat which made the vibe comfortable and friendly. I can't believe the quality of the stay we had, especially for the price... I'd expect to pay twice as much for that quality. I'm blown away by everything.

Hotel Akrotiri is enjoying a prime waterfront location in Akrotiri beach, near Santorini’s famous Red Beach and the archaeological site.

The terraced complex consists of rooms built in accordance with the traditional local architecture. All rooms feature sea view balcony, air conditioning, TV and refrigerator. We were delighted to stay at this wonderful hotel and are already planning when we can return. We were greeted by the hotel owner, Matthias, who is a very polite and friendly person. He provided us with valuable recommendations for local attractions and shared the history of Santorini. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, with daily housekeeping. Opening the window revealed a breathtaking view of the sea and white ships. Waking up in the morning and opening the shutters to this scenery was soul-healing, truly a therapeutic experience. The breakfast was delicious. In the evenings, we would choose our breakfast options, and everything would be ready at the designated time. We requested almond milk for our coffee instead of regular milk, and it was provided without any issues. An added bonus was the refrigerator in the room. We would buy wine and snacks and keep them for the evening. We spent truly magical nights on our terrace, listening to the waves below the hotel, gazing at the bright stars in the sky, and enjoying a glass of chilled wine. The location is perfect if you want to relax, get a good night's sleep, and meditate. The hotel is situated in a secluded area, in the part of the island that still maintains the authentic atmosphere of a Greek fishing village. For dinner, you can visit a tavern just 100 meters from the hotel. If you need to travel somewhere using public transportation, there is a bus stop right by the hotel, and there is also parking available for cars. If you walk about 1 kilometer to the town, you will pass by local vineyards in the form of baskets on the ground. In the town itself, you will find shops, cafes, a pharmacy, and a gallery with reasonably priced souvenirs. Many thanks to Matthias and the entire hotel staff for a wonderful vacation! I had difficulties in the beginning of the trip, last minute cancel of my companion and date change because of my visa. With help of Penny and Irina, my trip was recovered and better. This family-run property is designed in the traditional style of Santorini. Each of the rooms features en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We were greeted by the owner who was so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay.

Centrally situated in Fira Town, the renovated Sweet Pop offers an outdoor pool with sun terrace and tastefully decorated rooms with free WiFi. Guests will find restaurants, bars and the central bus station to explore the island within a short walk. The room was immaculate, for the centre of Fira it was really quiet. Shame we only stayed for one night as could easily have stayed longer. The staff were all lovely too.

Santorini Kastelli Resort enjoys a secluded location just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach of Kamari. Surrounded by fragrant gardens and lush lawns, the 5-star resort offers 2 swimming pools, a spa and a poolside bar restaurant. The hotel is huge and has a lot of options on its facilities. Our stay was on luxury suites, and we really felt that we payed less than it worths (in comparison with other accommodations in Greece). The breakfast is delicious and has a lot of options. The hotel offers transfer service, the price is better than the regular platforms (in some cases, using the platforms can cost about 10€ per kilometer). It's important to say that the Kastelli is located on Kamari, a region with a plenty of restaurants and a variety of stores, the beach is located 3 minutes away by walking, Fira and Oia are about 20 to 30 minutes by car. We must thank especially the employee Victoria, she welcomed us very well and helped us whenever we needed.
