Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. Absolutely loved the simple easy check in process. The cottage had big size rooms and bathroom. It was clean and well kept. The patio was the best addition. Over all it was peaceful and well maintained.

The rooms are located on a farm, so you are surrounded by animals which you can learn all about when taking a farm tour. We pre-booked breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of options and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The Garrisons are located very close to Loch Lomond, so you can easily walk along the lake on the Great Trossachs Path or take a boat at Inversnaid. Each room at the B&B features a TV with satellite channels and DVD player, a wardrobe and parquet floor. There is also tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with power shower and hairdryer. We arrived late and were exhausted. Annelise couldn’t be more accommodating. She quickly provided an adapter for our US chargers and recommended the Bistro next door for dinner. Our room was spotless, with many breakfast items available for the morning. The village is very quaint.

The property has a TV lounge, free Wi-Fi access for all guests and on-site parking. We had our own little apartment here and felt like staying in at our own house…lovely! Also very nice is the „little“ personal garden to stay and enjoy the weather/read a book or even have a barbecue.

There is an outside decking area for relaxation and plenty of walking paths along the surrounding mountain ranges. Glasgow Airport is a 45-minute drive from the property, which has free parking. Rooms were comfortable and the view from the room was stunning!

All include a Freeview LCD TV, safe, and a hospitality tray, as well as en suite bathroom with luxury Scottish toiletries. The location of the hotel was perfect, a short walk to the beautiful and charming village. Our room was lovely and very accommodating. The views from our room were also beautiful. The supper meal we had our first night was very good. The library bar was cosy and convenient. The wait staff at breakfast, supper and in the bar were excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay.
