It’s a really lovely, quirky place hosted by an artist. Valerie was friendly and helpful leaving us instructions which made self check in easy. Unique, lovely garden and terrace. Comfortable but simple and roomy as the downstairs is a sitting room/ well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing here at end of a day of sightseeing. Well located and close to everything with parking less than 500 metres away.
We highly recommend La Villa 1777 and will return. Corrine has beautifully renovated and decorated this gorgeous 1777 villa. Our bedroom huge and beautifully furnished - our bed so so comfortable with huge bathroom. Many areas around the villa to relax as well as the pool. A lovely breakfast of fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed juices and gorgeous pastries with home made condiments. Thank you Corrine, we feel so blessed to have met you and stayed in your piece of paradise.
Everything was perfect here - it was a perfect stay - incredible, and Corinne was a lovely host.
Great location on a hill, with a panoramic view of the city from the terrace. We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel . We spent the afternoon relaxing on the terrace until the sunset. The design of the room, terrace and garden planting was lovely and good taste. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Breakfast, delivered to our room in a basket, was delicious.
We upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous, there was a mezzanine with twin beds (which we didn't need) and a sofa and TV. The 'main' area downstairs had a big double bed, lovely bath/shower room and best of all a private terrace with sun loungers. We really enjoyed the luxury. The swimming pool area was very pretty and stylish.
