The bathrooms had excellent showers with underfloor heating. Breakfast was served by the owners and all the food was to a high standard. Communal areas were cleaned everyday and the whole place had an air of quiet and calm.

The house has 6 bedrooms. On the ground floor there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 quadruple bedroom. On the second floor guests will find a triple bedroom and a double bedroom with a balcony. An absolutely incredible stay! My wife and I drove in from Barcelona at night, so we missed much of the scenery due to the darkness. When morning came, we were absolutely stunned. The hotel was easy to find, and the hosts were very communicative via WhatsUp. We informed them that due to a short flight delay, we may arrive later than expected. They assured us that this was not a problem and that dinner would be available whenever we checked in. They were true to their word. The owner checked us in and showed us personally to our room. We then proceeded upstairs for dinner. The meal was incredible. We had a menu to choose from ahead of time, and everything we selected was fresh and magnificently cooked. My compliments to Susanne: that woman could hold her own against any chef in Spain (or France, for that matter)! The room itself was cozy but plenty spacious enough for two people. The bed and pillows were high-quality and we woke up very refreshed. It wasn't until looking out our window in the morning that we realized just how spectacular the scenery was. We took a brief walk around the charming neighborhood before returning for coffee. Some homemade items were also for sale, and we bought a blackberry jam to take with us. My only regret is that we just stayed for one night as we were passing through the area. The hotel was so peaceful and so charming--and the scenery so wonderful--that we could have stayed for days just relaxing, hiking, and getting to know the owners. The hospitality shown to us was on par with what you'd expect at a Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, or Mandarin Oriental. Susanne and her son were charming and gracious, and they went out of their way to be sure we were well cared for. We loved everything about this little hotel. I hope to be back someday, and I hope anyone reading this gets to enjoy a similar experience.

Cal Reus is located in Ger, La Cerdanya, surrounded by the Catalan Pyrenees. The French border is a 10-minute drive away, and the La Masella ski resort is a 25-minute drive away.

Featuring a private bathroom, rooms have a rustic style. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and hairdryer. The place was very clean and tidy. The owners very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room also had a kitchen which we were offered to use (and did) which was excellent. The owner gave us recommendations where to go and what to visit. All in all excellent experience, would go back and will recommend place to family and friends.

The charming décor combines rustic and modern features. Each heated room includes free Wi-Fi, a TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Excellent breakfast, beautiful location, amazing facilities (what other rural inn like this has a gym?) and super nice people running the place. Owner doesn't speak English but this was actually a plus for me, as I'm learning Spanish and most other people just switch over to English because it's easier. This was good practice.

A homemade breakfast is offered every morning at El Balcó de Dorres. Other meals are also proposed upon request and a restaurant can be found 600 metres away. I went to this place to do nothing and rest for a few days. It was really perfect for my purpose. The place is located in a very quiet village. The Roman bath is 3 minutes away on foot. It is a great place to enjoy tranquility. I slept so good there. Hiking is supposed to be very good although I didn't go hiking while I was there. The best thing is though the hosts. Luis and Monica work very hard to make everyone feel comfortable. If they offer dinner as an option, don't ask a question and just take it. The food is incredibly delicious (much better than the hotel restaurant nearby). I really enjoyed my stay there.

This charming Bed & Breakfast is located at the end of a rural tree-lined avenue along with Golf Sant Marc. It features a seasonal outdoor pool and a garden. It is only 5 minutes’ drive from Puigcerdà. Free private parking is available on site. A gem of a guesthouse/boutique hotel in a bucolic setting, with warm and friendly service. Rooms are unique and beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and gracious. The house itself is gorgeous. The grounds are lovely, with a little (slightly rough) golf course and a stable with horses (and cute ponies)--had we known, we would have arranged enough time to ride. The restaurant was excellent--food, service, atmosphere all great (trinxta with octopus--yum). Breakfast included an amazing and extremely generous array of pastries, cured meats, fruits, cheeses, in a beautiful patio/garden terrace setting.

A delightful blend of traditional Catalan architecture and modern design, the hotel preserves features such as the attractive, original façade and stone exterior, while the interior is fresh and up-to-date. Each of the 21 rooms boasts fantastic views and there is a cosy lounge with a wood burning fire, looking out on to the barn and garden. Bike parking immediately outside building viewable from our room. Beautiful building with artistic decor, large gallery with wooden beams on our floor. Swimming pool and sun loungers in grass area. Breakfast was very good too.

Aparthotel Bellver is in the centre of Bellver de la Cerdanya, in the Catalan Pyrenees, 15 km from Puigcerdà. It is 22 km from La Molina Ski Resort, and offers free ski storage.

Located close to the Cadí-Moixero Nature Reserve, the Bellver offers rustic accommodation, featuring stone and hardwood throughout. Some apartments have traditional-style chimneys and others enjoy views over the mountains. Excellent small apartment with all needed amenities included. Beautiful views from the balcony. The condition of the apartment was excellent. Seems brand new/after renovation. The apartment was very clean. The village/small town of Bellver De Cerdania is a quiet place, with nice people, nice shops of all sorts and supermarkets. People are living their lives there - not just servicing tourists (as opposed to Baga, which we visited once), so I would recommend Bellver De Cerdania very much (with one important caveat - the road south through the tunnel (under the Cadi and Moixero ranges) costs EU 12.64 in each direction - so keep this in mind because many of the trails require going through the tunnel). The host was extremely helpful and caring. All in all - great experience.

Fabulous location (right above the train station, and right across the road from the funicular), lovely staff, super comfy room, delicious breakfast.
