Set in Schmerikon, Strandhotel Schmerikon has a garden and a terrace. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Our room overlooking the water was spacious and beautifully decorated- my husband, who can be critical, remarked that it was one of the nicest rooms we had been to in an extended time. Lovely small veranda to sit and view the water along with goats (and cute kid goats) grazing outside. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. Dinner also lovely with good service and nice tables again with water views. There are plentiful tables outside but the weather was a little cool so we sat inside.

The Schloss Brunnegg is located at the outskirts of Kreuzlingen in an old castle that was turned into a hotel. Konstanz and Lake Constance can be reached within a short drive.

Exposed wooden beams, parquet or carpet flooring, lots of natural daylight and elegant design furniture are features of the spacious suites at Schloss Brunnegg. Some of them feature lake view. It was a pleasure and also an honor to stay in a castle with a so long history. We liked the kindness of the hosts, the great parking opportunities and travelling with a dog it was nice to have dog friendly walking areas nearby.

It offers nicely decorated rooms with solid wooden furniture, free parking, and an à-la-carte restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Easy walk from the train station.

The atmosphere was relaxing, the views were amazing, and the overall experience was worth every penny.

The units are equipped with loads of wood, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee while looking out at the river or the garden. It was beyond my expectations, i really liked every detail. The room was very clean and the location and the view was amazing. This is the best place where you can connect with nature. There is a river and a forest just near the area.The place is very quiet, you can meditate and relax. Ms saliva and her husband/the host, their hospitality was exceptional, and her food was absolutely delicious. It made my experience truly memorable.
