Set in Schmerikon, Strandhotel Schmerikon has a garden and a terrace. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Superb air conditioned room with a big, comfortable bed, spotless soft linen and a private terrace with a double width sun lounger looking out over the lake. The restaurant was superb whether for an evening meal on the terrace watching the sunset, or for the generous continental breakfast buffet. Plenty of parking and the hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of Schmerikon which offers a good range of shops as well as train and boat station.

The Schloss Brunnegg is located at the outskirts of Kreuzlingen in an old castle that was turned into a hotel. Konstanz and Lake Constance can be reached within a short drive.

Exposed wooden beams, parquet or carpet flooring, lots of natural daylight and elegant design furniture are features of the spacious suites at Schloss Brunnegg. Some of them feature lake view. Fantastic old castle, but renovated modern rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast.

It offers nicely decorated rooms with solid wooden furniture, free parking, and an à-la-carte restaurant. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, overall excellent value for money.

The wood-panelled rooms at Bären combine modern minimalist design with traditional Alpine features. They offer modern tiled bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. We had an excellent stay at Bären. The breakfast was amazing with many local and home-made products.

Wellness facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, an aroma steam bath and a Finnish sauna. There is also an outdoor relaxation area with a hot tub. This hotel was wonderful. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good was delicious. Views are outstanding.

The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned hotel, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. It offers a shaded terrace, a garden with old trees, direct access to the lake and beautiful views.

The romantic rooms are equipped with antique furniture. Some rooms have shared toilets. Hairdryer and TV are available upon request. Quaint historic inn. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. The whole place exudes warmth and welcome at a slower pace. Very attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free/celiac) and five star food. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Great hiking right out the door. Our favorite stay of a nearly three week European excursion!

The units are equipped with loads of wood, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee while looking out at the river or the garden. Everything! The wooden house was warm and welcoming, the bed was really comfortable! The bathroom is nice and modern with everything you would need, only 30 steps from the wooden house. You should definitely ask for breakfast, because everything is home made and fresh! It was so delicious! Silvia was kind and sweet, we loved our stay here. 100% recommend!
