Situated right at the banks of the Wörthersee lake, the family-run Seehotel Vinzenz features its own beach and an à-la-carte restaurant serving fresh fish from the lake. All rooms have a balcony, a flat-screen TV and offer free Wi-Fi. Friendly, cheerful and smiley staff, spacious and clean room, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast and dinner. A minibar would have been good in the room, but a fridge was available in the common area.

Enjoying a peaceful location next to the forest, Hotel Garni Frühstückspension Neff features a large garden with a sun terrace, and offers rooms with a balcony and a view over Lake Wörthersee. Free WiFi is available in the public areas. very pleased with the variety and quality of breakfast. the host mrs neff is very friendly and kind to support extra wishes of guests (accomodating an early breakfast)

A boat service operates throughout the summer between the lakeside towns and villages. Carinthia's capital Klagenfurt and the casino town of Velden are only 15 km away from Pörtschach. They can be reached within 10 minutes by car or train. It is just a lovely place very close to the Wörthersee (with public access). Barry and Siegried live there with their kids and are exceptionally friendly; you get a certain family feeling around you. breakfast is really good, with a diverse offer and many homemade dishes like bread, smoothies, etc. We stayed in a newly refurbished room which had everything we needed including a small balcony. I highly recommend a stay to everyone who is planning a trip to Corinthia. You will enjoy it.

The family-run Biogasthaus Wanker is peacefully situated in Hadanig close to Techelsberg and the Wörther Lake. It offers free internet access, free parking and meals prepared from organic products.

Biogasthaus Wanker has views over the Karawanken mountain range. You can go hiking, swimming in the lake or take a trip to the towns of Pörtschach or Velden. Nice place, especially courtyard. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but we enjoyed.

The Seehotel Das JO. in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few metres away.

Hotel Post Wrann is a traditional hotel with over 200 years of history right in the centre of Velden, only a few steps from the casino and Lake Wörthersee. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel.

The modern spa area offers a sauna, sanarium, steam bath, infrared cabin, a massage shower, and a relaxation area. The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

Surrounded by forests and meadows, Das Landhaus Hauptmann is located in beautiful surroundings above Pörtschach, offering fantastic views of Lake Wörth.

The spa area comprises a sauna, a steam bath, a solarium, a fitness centre and a relaxation zone. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Endearingly polite staff.
