One huge pool and another smaller pool, which always had space. Also walking distance to Mae Haad beach and local restaurants. The room was very spacious and felt like a slice of luxury for the price. I would recommend hiring a motorbike if wanting to explore the island (plenty of options to do so on the street next to the hotel). The breakfast also had lots of variety and an omelette station. Staff couldn’t be any nicer and accomodating!

We took a spa room, it was superb, we spent all our spare time here watching Koh Tao and Sail Rock and all the boats inbetween, especially at night. Food and staff were great. Pool was nice although we didn't use it much as was out and about. You can rent scooters from the hotel, in really good condition and good price. Sunsets at Club420 next door are brilliant, went there twice. Shuttle bus to beaches is free although we used a scooter instead. A really beautiful part of the island too. The staff warn you about mosquitos and they are in the trees below but we never saw any when in the room or around. Some videos coming soon on YouTube 66TripsLeft.

Beautiful, quiet location. Within walking distance to thongsala, perfect for visiting the market. Bungalows were clean with a nice view. The grounds were well maintained with hammock, lounge chairs and bean bags to sit on by the sea. The pool was a nice addition as the sea was not pleasant to swim in due to low tides in september.

Amazing stay here. Beautiful view, the beds was insanely comfortable, had an amazing sleep. The facilities are perfect, with an amazing pool. Breakfast buffet was awesome too. Highly recommend.

Stunning view and cute rooms. The restaurant and pool are great, and the staff are lovely. It’s a nice, secluded location as well. They offer a shuttle service to take you to different beaches on the island.

Would recommend without hesitation
Lovely family run hotel. We stayed in the family room, which was really comfortable with two small children. We loved the food (always freshly prepared) at the restaurant on site. The beach nearby is beautiful, mostly quite relaxed. We used a scooter to get around, with which other beaches, restaurants, etc are easily reachable (within 10-15 minutes).
It was the perfect getaway for a week. Beautiful beach, lovely accommodation and great staff! We had the most relaxing time, would definitely go back again.
Lovely quiet spot. Our bungalow was just off the beach. Great snorkelling in the bay. We originally booked a fan room but asked to change as was right in front of where the scooters are parked. They upgraded us into an air con room with tea kettle and fridge. Very nice of them! Next time I would just book that type of room instead. Big pool allow we never swam in it as always in the sea. Good at the beach bar was very good.
The location is in a relaxed, peaceful area, with a nice beach. Lovely big room with everything you need. There is also daily water provided, cleaning, towels. The pool is also a nice touch to the resort.
For the cheap price we paid it was only $50 more than the little bungalow we were staying before so this was like a 5 star hotel , great big room , aircon , big bed , big bathroom with great water pressure it felt like luxury to us . Pool was big and Infront of a lovely beach
This was our second time staying at Utopia and it really is a special find. The staff are so lovely and accommodating and the surrounding views are amazing! It is the perfect place to relax. The rooms are comfortable & there is a good breakfast. Will definitely return again, thank you for a lovely stay :)
The location was wonderful, the poolside rooms were beautiful to stay in. So many lovely restaurants around the area were lovely. The restaurant at the resort was great too and right by the beach. We had such an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again, it was a perfect location for our family- such a quiet relaxing area.
