This is an excellent hotel
With friendly helpful staff
I got a txt message before I arrived asking if there was anything I needed before I arrived
I jokingly said a cold cider in my room
But that's exactly what was waiting for me when I got in 🍻😁
Also free motorbike parking outside the hotel and a fantastic restaurant

Perfect little hotel, "Kulturmärkt" which means they can't change a lot of the house since it's protected.
The breakfast is really good (love the waffles) and abundant.
The rooms are old style with birds nest windows but the ambiance on the surrounding makes the perfect.
The bed is soft and cosy.
The restaurant itself is worth a visit alone, the quality on the food is up there next to any classier and fancier and more expensive restaurants in the big cities.
The chef tries to use the local and also the season ingrediants and they turn out delicious food for modest prices.
The staff is friendly and attentive to keep you happy and satisfied, while you are there get to know a little bit of the history of the place that started in the way back in the 400 and from roughly 1000 it started it's form up until 1900 when it sort of had it's last major reconstruction.
It has a lot of historical connections to both royalty and to the church.
I can really recommend the place if not for the food itself.
Try the Toast skagen, The Bookmaker or their speciality Stjarneskud... perfect with a beer or two.
Nice and quiet surrounding but still close to the main road without it is disturbing the peace.
They also have a sauna and a barrel tub.

Good, central hotel in Lidköping. The hotel is on the main square, but was quiet at night. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
We really loved the selection of little pastries and cookies that were available in reception all day, complimentary. Tea and coffee also complimentary all day.
Room was nice, very comfortable, and a good size.
Breakfast was excellent. Great selection, highlights were the lovely redcurrants, yoghurt, and the sourdough bread (I'd go back for that alone!!!!)
I went for a car show and my accommodations. I got last minute. I was extremely pleased with everything and can't wait to go back next year. I hear there will be upgrades on some of the older rooms, so i'm looking forward to it💞💖
Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely room. Good location for restaurants and shops.
Constant supply of beautiful cafes and biscuits. Sandwiches in the evening. All free.
Very good value.
Lovely, cozy place. Peace and tranquility right outside the front door but close to the town of Lidköping. Charming staff, very helpful and service minded. Clean and spotless, worth the price.
The host was really friendly, and even gave us tips for a restaurant in town. The place was very quiet, and perfect to relax. Near the lake, just a few meter walk.
Stunning place in stunning setting. Fan in bathroom ran all night which prevented a 10 but lovely staff and a corner room made for a perfect stay. Parking motorcycles outside frowned on at first but tolerated, thank you.
Food in restaurant top notch.
