We had booked a small room and it was fabulous . Very clean room and bathroom, nicely decorated . Nespresso in the room. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

For us a visit to a familiar location, nice cabins in very quiet park, stayed in 6 person cottage with 2 persons so ample room, but the cabins are decent size. They are renovating the cabins now. Some 5 minute drive from the slopes, 3 good stocked supermarkets nearby

I have stayed at a few hotels with a child and have to say to say this was the best so far! Walking distance to transportation, restaurants next door and nearby, great playgrounds, shopping, and best of all the river and mountain scenery. Exceedingly relaxing!! Super comfortable bed and natural white noise. Liked the breakfast buffet and thought the new bathroom was nice, good water pressure. The view from the Toppen sky bar was lovely too at sunset.
We asked - in our booking made 6 months in advance - to be on a high floor as they are quieter. We were put in a low one. So, we asked to move. The first room we were given had no opening window and no air conditioning. We asked to move again, and then ended up, upgraded and in a great room. So a good experience in the end. Rooms vary hugely.
Nice and cozy hotel, great location in lovely Lillehammer. Rooms have a nice atmosphere, bathroom large and clean. Breakfast has plenty of options. Friendly staff at the reception.
We were delighted with the hotel. We arrived in Lillehammer early as we'd caught the night train and we were able to check in. This was much appreciated as we had had very little sleep and the weather was awful. The room was very comfortable and there were tea and coffee available. The bathroom was a good size and had everything you need including lovely toiletries. A very friendly member of staff in the roof top bar (amazing views). Breakfast was delicious.
Birkebeineren Hotel & Apartments was a good stay. We visited Lillehammer with our friends and family and stayed there for one night. We asked for our rooms to be closed to each other which Birkebeineren Hotel & Apartments fulfilled. We loved the room. it was cozy and comfortable. The hotel has a lounge which was nice and cozy where you can sit and relax with your family and friends. There are board games for children as well. Breakfast was good and had a lots of options and variety. In all, it was a decent and lovely stay.
Lovely stay in perfect nature surroundings in Lillehammer spa hotel! We loved the room with bathtub, the peace and quiet in the room and in the hotel., and the wonderful spa and pool areas. We also had dinners in the restaurant with very good service and had a gift in the room as it was my birthday! Thanks to this, it felt like being in a luxury retreat, at the very best of winter with all white garden and sunny days.
We went for a competition in Moelv and could really relax and get new energy when we came to the house in the evenings.
Lovely house, friendly cats and a nice owner.
