Very cute guesthouse for a night in Pakbeng. The owner is lovely and he organised sandwiches for our breakfast and boat trip. Perfect location on Main Street. The Sabaidee restaurant across the road was a must too.
Relaxing in the pool of the le Grand after a day on the slow boat is simply the best. The staff was extremely welcoming, the grounds are beautiful and our room had a splendid view over the Mekong river. A real bless to stay here.
This is a lovely stay for the night between taking the slowboat - it is a 2 minute walk to the pier. Rooms were clean and had a mosquito net above the bed. Breakfast was included and was simple but delicious with eggs made to our liking. Also really appreciated them allowing us to reschedule our dates several times due to sickness.
Such a great and quiet place to relax! The pool is amazing and the rooms were really comfortable. Got a room upgrade because we were going to Mekong Elephant Park the next day! The elephant park is really worth it!! The animals are really well taken care of and the french owner is super nice!
Room was really comfortable. Lovely view of the river. Nice area to sit outside and relax after the long boat journey. Shower was lovely. Close to boat and town centre. Free pick up and drop off to boat. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Perfect stay for one night with the slow boat. Lovely pancakes for breakfast, and packed lunch for an extra fee, it’s definitely worth getting. Room was very clean and ideal for the few hours you need it for. They will collect you when the boat comes in and bring you to the house, but it’s also only a 4-5 minute up the hill
