In the heart of Tuscany, this lovely borgo has a beautiful rustic feel which made us happy to be here. It is on a little vineyard, with tall cypresses, and when greeted with that sensational Tuscan sunset, it certainly brings out the romance in you. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Really friendly and helpful staff and very accommodating for my vegan requirements for dinner and breakfast.
A beautiful place in a quiet and tranquil location. A lovely place to stay for some luxury on the pilgrim journey.
Beautiful country setting, relaxing with friendly proprietor who made a gift of Olive oil and wine from his farm. Also gave us a free upgrade to an apartment as it happened to be free. The property was extremely handing for visiting Siena and the Tuscan countryside.
So relaxing. Beautiful converted farm buildings. House martins swooping through the loggias. You spend your time settled within the vineyard, sounded by flowers, herbs, butterflies and we even saw fire flies at night (after the lovely sunset over the vines). So rural yet only 10k from Siena.
It was a great location as we were walking the Via Francigena and provided a luxury stop at the lovely Monteriggioni . We had a table and chair directly outside our room which looked over to the fortress, watched the sunset. Beautiful. Lovely breakfast.
Incredibly beautiful place, with a spectacular view towards the fortress walls of the village nearby, very quiet, and the only sound one can hear - songs of birds and church bells coming from the village at sunset.
The staff was super polite, friendly and helpful.
The house was surrounded by beautiful gardens, olive trees and fields of grapes.
The whole experience was like in a romantic movie and very relaxing.
We will be definitely coming back at first opportunity.
Lovely relaxing place to stay.
One recommendation would be to have a couple of "specials" on the dinner menu that change daily
When there for a week the menu becomes a little repetitive
What can I say! Absolutely gorgeous location, with stunning views. Very peaceful, with lovely walks, and well worth visiting Monteriggioni. Georgia made us very welcome; along with Olga's fine baking to set us up for the day. Sat around the pool, we felt spoilt- thank you!
