Always wanted to stay within a castle / fortress and this met my expectations.......and even had an elevator which went a long way with dealing with the luggage. Quite possibly the most relaxing and best night sleep I've had while traveling as I could leave the window open all night with the moist sea breeze vs stuff AC air and with the castle so far away from the town - very little noise. And because it was a small boutique hotel - filled with a more mature crowd that respected everyone else with minimal noise, slamming of doors and the typical loud voices in the hall at night ....but not here which was amaing. Free pass to the island to see the castle along with the crypts and a beautiful art studio with some really special pieces to take home.

It’s located on the top of the mountain which you can enjoy the view of castle and ocean. Owner and staffs are friendly and welcoming you. They offer the simple breakfast in stunning view. Also complementary shuttle to pick you up and drop you off at the pier.

Great value for money. Located on the west shore of Ischia in between Forio and Sant'Angelo. There are so many beautiful things to see close to the hotel so the location is highly recommended. If you are not in a physical good shape you would need to have another type of commute, like a scooter or car. We walked. There are couple of nice restaurants up the hill. Also tried the restaurant at the hotel for the dinner. The swimming pool is awesome and you are able to hop in at whatever time you want during the day. Nice infinity views over the ocean.

This hotel is more than excellent. I was traveling with my wife and 3 years old son and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect and the people who works at the hotel, restaurant and the garden are so super friendly. It was our first stay at Ischia/Forio and we have promised ourselves to come here every year and stay at the exact same place. We talked to some guests and they have been coming back for many years to the same hotel. We had a memorable stay. It was also my birthday and they surprised me with a bottle of cava and different sweets. This hotel is walking the extra mile for making your stay just perfect. The room was super clean and had everything you needed. Villa Ravino Secret Retreat is a beautiful relaxing slice of heaven.

Very comfortable and clean room with splendid view over the hotel gardens, looking towards the hills in the distance. A superb breakfast. Very helpful and kind staff. Excellent location within a short (about 10 minute) walk of both the ferry port and the main bus station. Highly recommended.

This is absolute gem. Beautiful clean room, it has heating (we visited in March, you can make it as warm as you want). It has a best breakfast of all whole our Italian holiday, and the breakfast view - this was the best view in a hotel we had maybe ever. Lady running the hotel is helpful, friendly, give you a lot of important information, but not overwhelm you with unimportant ones. Ischia is really beautiful, this was really good.

Fantastic location overlooking the bay. Very friendly owners and excellent breakfast served on the garden terrace. Clean, comfortable room with an amazing view, especially enchanting in the night with the lights from Sant’ Angelo and the boats. Extra plus were the cute cats and an adorable kitten. Would definitely come back again.

Location was excellent - easy walk to restaurants, ferry and more. The morning breakfast was amazing - much to select from and all very delicious. Staff was unbelieveably kind and generous with their help. Bonus was the washer in our flat! The plunge pool and gorgeous views of the ocean 5 Star!!
