Room - how lovely to have a well-lit room. In addition to plenty of lamps, there were spot lights in the ceiling. A lovely big window too with amazing views. The room was big, spacious and clean. The bathroom had a bath and a shower - luxury!
The continental breakfast was fabulous. Delicious, homemade granola and brown bread - proper thick yoghurt too. Nice strong tea in a pot that didn't leak!
Staff so friendly . Lovely relaxed atmosphere . Spa staff so professional and welcoming . Open fire and really comfortable seating in foyer fabulous . Carvery dinner excellent .
Lovely hotel in relaxed surroundings. Staff were friendly & helpful, good facilities and comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast and overall a great experience.
Lovely staff . Tasty food . Plenty of areas to relax . Comfortable room . Ps my mum and dad in 1954 had their honeymoon here so that was my reason for staying
Our stay was amazing, The bedroom was larger, clean and spacious. We had a jacuzzing bath which was beautiful, a tea station and a mini fridge. There was robes and slippers in the wardrobe which was such a nice touch. The swimming pool was lovely, and never too busy, as well as the beautiful indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. Food was amazing and fast, we ate in the bar and also the secret garden which both had lots of options. The gardens were amazing, and were beautifully looked after. We will be returning, as this stay was so relaxing.
