Breakfast was excellent, could not fault it and the staff serving were very polite and friendly. Great location on the Sea Front with lovely walks for the dog. Room reasonable size. Staff generally were helpful. Room was OK but thought it could have been better for £200 per night, but there are very few hotels in the town. Stayed 5 days.

Good hotel, reasonably close to the centre of Canterbury - we walked into town. Very handy having parking on site as that is not so easy in Canterbury. Room was quiet, bed comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Felt a bit gloomy on the ground floor but it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine - quite a lot of choice and a nice breakfast room. The staff were pleasant - young guy who checked us in was very helpful.

The staff were lovely, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide choice and cooked to order.
The room was very clean and well equipped with tea, coffee machine, biscuits, water.
We booked last minute and had a city view room as that was the only one left. We were really happy in it but know that the sea view rooms are amazing.
The hotel is in a quieter, relaxed location but easily walkable into town.
The hotel was lovely. We loved our room which was very comfortable and the furnishings and the colours used were very relaxing. The location is great, only a 10 minute drive to Whitstable and you feel like you are staying in the countryside. It was so quiet too which we loved. Staff are lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast too. Bed super comfy! Thank you for a lovely stay!
Location was perfect as we were visiting family in Herne Bay. Very spacious and 2 bathrooms always a bonus. Air conditioning was lovely as a very warm weekend. Decking front and back of the lodge was well set up for eating and relaxing outdoors. Beds very comfortable. The site is very well maintained and everyone seemed friendly. Communication before arrival was clear and friendly. The ice cream van comes right past your door. Would be rude not to!
The Yellow Door accommodation was beautifully appointed.
The hosts were super generous with breakfast foods, provided essentials and also provided a lovely bottle of wine. Thank you.
The Hotel was in a beautiful location. There were plenty of tables and chairs plus garden sofas on the terraces to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal if you wished. The hotel is the perfect place to escape to if you want to relax and take time out. The icing on the cake was all the lovely staff. They were exceptional 🤩
Fabulous location, small friendly hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to town and Whitstable is a great place to visit. The staff at the hotel were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was fantastic & the lady running the 'Breakfast Buffet Area' was a warm & friendly character that made us smile every morning and she couldn't do enough for us (same can be said for all the staff throughout the hotel) Highly recommend a stay here. Thank You.
There is so much space at this property, well decorated and very clean and homely. Beds are very comfortable and you have all the facilities you could possibly need to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Hot tub was lovely and felt very private.
Having read the recent reviews, they echo ours.
Beautiful place warm cosy with all the essentials. There were also extra thoughtful things too.
Julie was lovely, very hospitable. She gave us a few recommendations, which we took up and glad we did.
We wanted a relaxing luxury place away from home with things to do nearby. The Burrows fitted this perfectly.
