The staff were lovely, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide choice and cooked to order. The room was very clean and well equipped with tea, coffee machine, biscuits, water. We booked last minute and had a city view room as that was the only one left. We were really happy in it but know that the sea view rooms are amazing. The hotel is in a quieter, relaxed location but easily walkable into town.

Location was perfect as we were visiting family in Herne Bay. Very spacious and 2 bathrooms always a bonus. Air conditioning was lovely as a very warm weekend. Decking front and back of the lodge was well set up for eating and relaxing outdoors. Beds very comfortable. The site is very well maintained and everyone seemed friendly. Communication before arrival was clear and friendly. The ice cream van comes right past your door. Would be rude not to!

Fabulous location, small friendly hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to town and Whitstable is a great place to visit. The staff at the hotel were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was fantastic & the lady running the 'Breakfast Buffet Area' was a warm & friendly character that made us smile every morning and she couldn't do enough for us (same can be said for all the staff throughout the hotel) Highly recommend a stay here. Having read the recent reviews, they echo ours. Beautiful place warm cosy with all the essentials. There were also extra thoughtful things too. Julie was lovely, very hospitable. She gave us a few recommendations, which we took up and glad we did. We wanted a relaxing luxury place away from home with things to do nearby. The Burrows fitted this perfectly.
