We have been holidaying in the Lakes for over 50 years, but Pooley Bridge has always seemed a bit too far. Not any more. A beautiful little village with a wonderful "B&B". How Booking.com can classify it as such is beyond me. It is a Michelin starred restaurant in every respect - food, wines, staff, atmosphere. Perfect. We will be back whenever we are in the area again
Thank you

Cosy cottage worth hot tub. Very clean, host was lovely. As we arrived they were doing final touches to property. Rose petals on the bed and chocolates were a beautiful touch.
Perfect place for a little romantic break. Would absolutely stay again and have already recommended the property to friends and family
It's a beautiful property, very comfortable and surprisingly quiet, seeing as it's on the main road.
We got a lovely welcome and our stay was very relaxed. The breakfast choices were vast and great quality food cooked well.
We would definitely stay again.
Lovely location, garden was pretty and very relaxing with bonus of the hot tub. Easy access to Penrith. Couple of pubs within walking distance for food.
Room was spot on. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. Warm and quiet. Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries, a selection of towels and dressing gowns for the spa. Spa was simple but nice and relaxing atmosphere. Steam room, pool, large jacuzzi. Great value. Remember to book the spa in advance though, in case it fills up.
Absolutely gorgeous guest house in perfect location walking distance from all on offer in Penrith. The owners were so fabulously warm and welcoming with amazing communication in the lead up to our stay. They really had thought of everything and lots of lovely extra touches. Rooms beautifully decorated, very comfortable and with more than required to make for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.
Everything.
The summer house is stunning with amazing views and a fabulous log burner perfect for a romantic weekend , Kevin and Michaela are lovely hosts even leaving fresh eggs, bread and orange juice.
Beautiful building, nice and cosy inside. Everything you need to kick back and relax. Fantastic jacuzzi bath! Beds super comfortable. Clean, tidy, GORGEOUS. Loved the fact it’s easily accessible and has goats and sheep right outside. Lovely garden area.
Had the most amazing two night stay here with my boyfriend in the Badger hut. So peaceful and so relaxing. Hut has everything you need including smart tv, wifi, hob, fridge etc. Thank you so much for the Prosecco when we arrived was lovely to have in the hot tub!
So close to Penrith, shops and a easy drive into the Lakes.
Did not want to leave, we had the most unreal time
Thank you so much again🥰
We were upgraded to an apartment and it was excellent.
We had dinner and breakfast in the main building and was not disappointed with lovely food well prepared and served by friendly staff.
The external garden areas have many seating areas where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
Super stay all round and will be back.
.
The cottage was in a perfect location. It was quiet and half a mile from a village pub. Our hosts left a complimentary bottle of wine and a pack of luxury biscuits which was a nice touch.
We left the property clean and tidy which they took the time to thank us for. All-in-all it was a relaxing stay.
