Room was good size and beds were comfortable. Tea, coffee was provided. As the name indicates the house is old and therefore the plumbing is kind of old as well. But it functions and that is all it matters. Hotel is in center of old town with all the restaurants, coffee shops and shops on the doorstep. Restaurant, and JC bar are connected to the hotel.

Great place and lovely escape from London, went down to avoid the heatwave and stayed in one of the suites as they have aircon. Main building really nice and great outdoor/dining area. Bar and bar staff very help. Overall great stay, will return
