Gothic House is a boutique guest accommodation with scenic views of 14th-century timber-framed houses. Situated on East Grinstead High Street, which features many shops, restaurants and bars. St. Swithun's Church, a Grade II listed building, is only a 1-minute walk away.

Room was good size and beds were comfortable. Tea, coffee was provided. As the name indicates the house is old and therefore the plumbing is kind of old as well. But it functions and that is all it matters. Hotel is in center of old town with all the restaurants, coffee shops and shops on the doorstep. Restaurant, and JC bar are connected to the hotel.

I had a lovely room that was a good size and very spacious. There was everything in it that you could need and the bed was large and comfortable. The pool and spa was clean and tidy and a perfect way to spend an hour relaxing. I really enjoyed the steam room. Good choice of a food at breakfast. However the dinner menu was a little restricted if you didn’t like burgers and pizzas.

We checked in at 4pm and we checked out at 9pm same day! We had needed a much relaxed night away after the few months of hell and wanted to use the pool and hot tub with some relaxation before attending an event that evening. The hot tub was extremely cold and had to be drained due to too much chlorine. The pool was also very cold and badly lit. This resulted in a very bad headache causing us not to attend a public event. The room was lovely but we could not hear it up and we could not relax.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. We booked a normal double room but mentioned it was our first anniversary as a couple and they upgraded us to the top room with lounge access without asking. The room was really good too. Thank you

We stayed hear the night before my friend's wedding. The reception staff saw our bride/bridesmaid dressing gowns on our way down to the spa and sent a bottle of prosecco to the room. We were also given a shot with our dinner. The food was lovely. The spa was really peaceful, only a couple of other visitors when we went down. We had a really lovely, relaxing stay which was exactly what we needed.

Spacious modern room with a large king size bed. Black out curtains were great and definitely needed. The staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was very nice and also catered well to allergens (gluten free). Complimentary drinks coupons as we were celebrating, which was a nice touch. The spa was lovely, very relaxing and had a lot to offer including the option to relax outside.

The facilities were good and the wellness area was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was really nice too and quite a big choice for hot and cold foods. Good location and easy to find and also a nice big carpark. Will definitely go back there again.

It was supposed to be a birthday weekend treat on 18th-20th Feb but due to the bad weather we rescheduled the date to 4th-6th March. It was lovely just the great little break away with my partner...just what we both needed. Chakra spa was lovely swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi was a nice extra. The staff were very welcoming we had a well deserved relaxed weekend with a very calming massage to distress the mind. The breakfast was devine amazing!! Very happy, would definitely recommend to others and we are planning to visit again soon.
