Loved this beautiful old hotel in this very pretty quaint village. We had an upgraded room which included a carpark, for which we were very grateful. Our room size was very generous and the cooked to order breakfast was first rate. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The pub is how all country pubs should be: warm, welcoming, with lovely food and drink. The rooms (we stayed twice for one night each time) were comfortable, quiet and equipped with everything we needed.

We were in the area for work and stayed Sunday night. We arrived late for Sunday lunch and the staff were really nice and nothing was a problem. The food was fantastic and good value. We were very impressed with the room on the top floor. Very big, lovely spacious bathroom with bath tub and separate shower. We would have loved to explore the area, but we only had time to have a quick walk…but what a walk! It is right next to some stunning views and rocks and we saw plenty of wild ponies. Just magical. The breakfast was also fabulous and the staff super friendly. Would love to come and stay for a longer break and explore the area. 100% recommend.

New glass box needs help to make more inclusive and more a part of the old pub. Very stark. Very “architect”
Everything! The grounds were lovely the hotel well kept and the atmosphere was instantly welcoming and relaxing.
The outlaws thoroughly approved which was a gold star for me and my 7 year old daughter was made to feel so welcome.
The level of service was the best we have experienced even higher than previous stays at the savoy and lanesborough in London which we didn’t think could be beaten!
Food was delicious room comfortable we genuinely found it impossible to criticise anything!
We didn't get there until late in the evening, but the Three Crowns were really accommodating and kept in contact and had food waiting for us on arrival. The food was lovely and we were able to relax with a few drinks before bed after a long drive.
The room was great and we had a good night's sleep. Yummy full English for breakfast as well as lots of other options available. Free strong Wifi on site.
Thanks to Adam and Ollie especially for all your help!
