The grandeur of the building and the quality of accommodation in the Deluxe Single Room, which was more spacious than I expected, with good lighting and work space, a really comfortable bed and quality bedding. Staff were great throughout. I also liked the evening food options in the bar, and breakfast, with its buffet and cooked-to-order options.

Very welcoming host, lots of lovely extras, bottles of water in the room, sweets, biscuits. Lovely pre ordered breakfast cooked fresh. Separate lounge for us to use. Very close to the shopping outlets. Lots of free parking.

We have been here once before and were elated to stay here again. It is the most beautiful little cottage, in an idyllic situation. The room was very big, it had tea/coffee facilities etc, tv, wardrobe...everything you would expect really. The bathroom was lovely too. The breakfast was so tasty and plenty to eat. Caroline was an extremely welcoming host. All in all a fabulous stay and highly recommended...hopefully we will be back in the not too distant future. Thank you xx

Everything! Beautiful here. Peaceful and staff were friendly. Food was good and room was lovely. Big comfy 4 poster bed with a jacuzzi bath in room plus en-suite. Spacious room with tea& coffee making facilities. Garden is pretty to walk around. We had a lovely stay here. Breakfast in morning was great.
Lovely place if you want to relax. Owners are very welcoming. We had a great time there with our 7 yo. Also, really good location. 25 min away from Walby Park, Solway Aviation Museum, Gretna. Highly recommended 👌
The property is lovely. It has been thoughtfully renovated and is a delightful place to stay. The bathroom is especially well done with a luxury shower.
Situated in a quiet location on the edge of town it is a short walk to the local shops and eateries. A path takes you along the nearby river.
There were some much appreciated tea bags, coffee pods and milk on arrival. The local supermarket is close by to top up supplies.
As an added bonus there is a charging point for electric cars.
Perfect overnight stay in the Countryside near Carlisle. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the honeyroom suite. It was lovely! The bed was comfy and there was a spa bath in the room. The restaurant and bar facilities were also really good. Would definitely recommend.
A nice relaxing stay at a lovely hotel. We got a free upgrade to a room in "Rose Cottage" adjacent to the hotel, which was clean, spacious, and excellent.
Wonderful peaceful location lovely garden. Katie was very welcoming and informative. Room was very spacious 4 poster bed very comfy, nice bathroom and jacuzzi bath in main bedroom. Had a lovely relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend and will revisit. Fab breakfast.
