Lovely staff, great hotel. Great welcome when we arrived. Loved our room... we had paid extra for an upgrade on the room... We ate dinner there both nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good. We liked all the different rooms and bars downstairs. It's a great location.

The farmhouse is spacious with a cosy atmosphere, very comfortable beds. Games room a great bonus. Beautiful views, peaceful location with pubs nearby. The children loved the pet lambs and even got to feed them! Tables & chairs are outside the property and also in the adjacent field, providing a lovely place to relax surrounded by nature. The owner Deborah & her 2 sons James and Edward are so helpful and friendly.

Absolutely stunning location. The accomodation was perfect and host lovely. It could not have been better. Stunning sunset from the beautiful dogwalking area - not that we had a dog, it was just a beautiful place to be. Thought of everything and so relaxing. Thank you

Beautiful setting and caravan was luxurious and spotless. Dog park and walk were great extras. The weather was lovely so great to have the decking around the caravan to sit outside. Close to lake area only short drive away but park was secluded and quiet for a relaxing break. Lots of thought has gone in to making this more than a home from home. We will definitely stay again.

Stunning location and the cottage had a comfortable, lived-in feel that meant you could relax. It had a lovely layout and was spacious for a cottage of its type. It had everything you need for a stay away, the kitchen had plenty of bits and bobs.

Although in a rural location, in about 30 mins drive you can be in Carlisle or by the sea at Maryport, and in Keswick or Cockermouth even sooner. The gardens at New Park Farm were lovely, and we enjoyed watching the hens, sheep and cows in the surrounding fields; the upstairs lounge had good views of the nearby hills. The bedroom was pleasantly cool on warm days (in July). There were several nice touches: we were very pleased with the pint of milk in the fridge, and the bottle of wine, chocolates, and fresh flowers on the dining table.

Breakfast was perfect with plenty to choose from and a full English cooked to perfection. Our room was very spacious, very clean and had a lovely outlook. Our evening meals were equally nicely cooked with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the staff could not be more accommodating.
