The location was fantastic. Bar Soria (whose owner is quite a character, in a very good sense) on the same street was a big added value. The host was extremely friendly and super helpful with his tips and suggestions. The facilities were full of character and spotless clean. I really hope to return!

My stay at Barceló Carmen Granada was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the lovely Maria, who generously upgraded my stay and set the tone for an incredible experience. The room was impeccable—clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The hotel boasts a range of facilities, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. One highlight was the breakfast, which offered a diverse array of delicious options. Every bite was a culinary delight! The rooftop terrace was simply breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the magical city of Granada. Watching the sunset from there was an unforgettable experience. Moreover, the hotel's location couldn't be better—it's situated right in the heart of Granada, close to shops, restaurants, and all the main tourist attractions. In summary, I highly recommend Barceló Carmen Granada for anyone looking for an exceptional stay in this beautiful city.

The room had an amazing view towards the Alhambra. It was right in the centre, easy to find and to reach thanks to the host's directions. The room was quite large and we had two bathrooms on our floor, with an electric kettle and tea and sugar if we needed it. The host was the nicest person and we got recommendations where to eat and what to visit in the city

The location were very close the Alhambra and city center. Both room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The staffs were very helpful with direction and service.

We had a very clean, comfortable and pretty room in this guesthouse. The shower was super, with good pressure and lots of hot water. There was a sweet little terrace off our room with a peek-a-boo view of the Alhambra. It was very quiet, although only a five or ten minute walk to Plaza Nueva, which is a hub for taxis and buses, and the neighbourhood of Moorish shops and wonderful restaurants. Tony and Ainhoa, the staff we met, were warm, friendly and very helpful. Every morning they put out a fresh filling continental breakfast with good strong coffee.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and is an amazing option for being right in the Albaicin BUT with convenient parking! The highlight though without a doubt has to be the host... Ingo gives attention to all guests to make you truly feel at home. We had a limited time in Granada and he went over with us detailed suggestions for a possible walking route to take, places to eat, and directions on how to get to the Alhambra for our morning tour (when he spotted a potential discrepancy in our palace entry time and our tour guide's meeting time, he immediately took the initiative and called the tour company for us to clear it up). For those who worry about arriving in the Albaicin by car, the directions to the parking are excellent (even including a short video) and while the streets are a bit narrow, the parking garage itself is spacious and very comfortable to park in. As others have mentioned, the bus to the Alhambra is very simple to navigate, and leaves just 15 meters away from the hotel. (Ingo recommends taking the bus there and then walking back--wise advice so that you're fresh and ready for a lengthy tour, but can still enjoy the pleasant park and streets on the return route). Another highlight is the hotel's welcoming attitude towards those who have checked out but need a place to leave luggage and even rest up with some tea/fresh lemonade before actual departure. Aside from all this praise, we found the hotel services to all be excellent--a comfortable bed, a very clean bathroom, a tasty breakfast (with the option of a picnic breakfast for those who have an early booked Alhambra tour...). All in all an excellent choice for a Granada stay. And thank you again Ingo for making our visit such a delight!
