Gorgeous old family run hotel in the heart of the lovely small town of Bacharach. Room was very comfortably furnished with thick carpets, plenty of storage and thick towels. Dedicated parking nearby at 5 Eur per night was pretty convenient. There is also public parking a bit further away down by the river. We had e-bikes with us and were very impressed by the large secure room for bikes and luggage in a building just opposite the hotel. Multiple sockets meant it was very easy to charge the bikes. Excellent breakfast.

The location was fantastic! The people were so friendly and accommodating. If you are English speaking you'll be a little challenged but well worth the visit. The food and breakfast are amazing!

Nice hotel in a nice building. The view on the city and hills from the top floor is amazing. Good breakfast. Ok there is no lift, but it is well mentioned, it is also a historical place and the stairs are wide enough.

The experience was amazing. Even when I arrived after midnight (due to losing shortly a train connection at Bingen, my own fault), the code that had been given to me by the staff and the video instructions for the check in allowed me to enter without hassle. After a relaxing bath and an amazing night of sleep, I enjoyed a lot the beautiful back yard, enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast and attention by all the staff. Really look forward to go back sometime, maybe to complete the whole train along the World Heritage Site.

Beautiful Hotel with an amazing out door garden to enjoy. Very clean facility. We walked from the train station with 2 backpacks and a rolling luggage, it was a bit far with the luggage. The hotel staff gave us a ride to the train station when we left which was vey nice. Hotel offered a breakfast spread which we enjoyed one day.Loved the town and surrounding countryside. We met other locals who offered many suggestions for hiking, picnics, and food. A beautiful place to visit

It’s a very lovely place with a history. They paid a lot of attention to details decorating the guesthouse. Owners are very friendly and nice. The breakfast is just amazing, home made cakes, quiche etc., one of the best breakfast I’ve had in hotels. We stayed only one night and absolutely loved it. If we are in this area again, we will stay there for sure.

Location excellent views of Rhine.It was worth travelling the extra miles from Koblenz to have this special time in such beautiful old Castle which had all the old features and furnishings..

The owners and staff were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beer garden was a lovely place for an evening meal. The food was excellent.
